The unanimous resolution predictably cited the cast of SNL, polar bears, those tight pants worn by Canadian mounties, and the nifty way Canada keeps Alaska separate from us.

Dec 8th, 2009 at 12:30PM: Last week, I attended a celebration of the lighting of the tree at Rockefeller Center hosted by the Canadian Tourism Commission. The logic goes like this:
The 2010 Olympics are going to be in Vancouver.
The Olympics will be aired by NBC.
NBC is based at Rockefeller Center.
NBC also airs the Rockefeller Tree lighting.
