Research back in 2009 uncovered that most remotes are covered in sperm and urine - which is why I've traveled with a universal remote control for several years.

Last week, we wrote about iPhone hotel app "Hotel Tonight". When we first mentioned it, hotels could only be booked in New York, San Francisco and Hollywood. Just in time for the big Blizzard of '11, Hotel Tonight has added Chicago, Boston and Washington DC.

Dec 25th, 2010 at 12:30PM: A funny thing happens to my travel photos after a trip. After uploading select pictures to Flickr or Picasa, my photos often languish unedited (and unseen) on my laptop.
