Dec 17th, 2010 at 3:00PM: This week Norwegian Cruise Line announced that they were sending 4 ships to Europe in 2012 and 2013, their largest deployment ever. Norwegian joins some other cruise lines in a movement that started several years ago to redeploy ships to more profitable European waters.

Dec 30th, 2009 at 3:30PM: In 2006, British Fitness instructor Danny Simpson slipped on the wet floor of the spa on board the Norwegian Cruise line's "Norwegian Crown". Mr. Simpson was employed by Steiner Transocean, responsible for operating the spa facilities on the cruise line.
When he fell, he suffered a back injury that made him impotent and incontinent. And apparently, that kind of suffering is worth $9.5 million. ...

The man fell off the boat early yesterday morning, approximately 60 miles north of Nassau. Though he hasn't been identified, other passengers saw him take the plunge.
