I find costumes scary and Halloween night even scarier. I may love to travel, but on this particular evening there's no better place than the comfort of my living room. For those of you who are a bit more brave and eager to set out into the spooky evening donning a custom costume, have a ghoulish time! But for the others, like myself, who prefer to stay home, I invite you to read these ...

But not Larry Whitten.

Oct 7th, 2009 at 8:00AM: Immigrants awaiting deportation may find themselves in a hotel – provided they are not violent and don't have any sort of criminal history. The check-in program is intended to cut the cost of holding immigrants before they are deported. Last year, the United States spent $2 billion on sheltering immigrants that would eventually be sent out of the country.

Sep 25th, 2009 at 2:30PM: The Hyatt hotel chain is facing more trouble after firing nearly 100 housekeepers and replacing them with contract workers. Though a rep for Hyatt has denied that the fired workers were "tricked" into training their replacements and were not given severance, it seems the public isn't buying it.

The Opus Hotel, on the corner of la rue Sherbrooke and ...
