Apr 19th, 2009 at 10:30AM: The Coast Guard has given up its search for a 39-year-old Norwegian Cruise Line passenger off the Bahamas. The man fell off the boat early yesterday morning, approximately 60 miles north of Nassau. Though he hasn't been identified, other passengers saw him take the plunge.
Other cruise ships in the area contributed to the search for this lone moron passenger. But, at 8 PM yesterday, the Coast ...

Mar 3rd, 2009 at 8:30AM: Yesterday Brenda wrote a post about the safety of traveling in Mexico. Here's another travel option for Mexico if you like to flirt with danger just a tad. See if your taxi driver is a narco-tour guide. A narco-tour is when a taxi driver in places like the beach resort town Mazatlán drives you past the homes and hang outs of the famous drug cartel folks. You know, to see how people with ...

Feb 13th, 2009 at 2:00PM: A mutual agreement allowing Europeans, nationals from four Caribbean countries, and citizens of two island nations in the Indian Ocean is expected to be passed and approved by the end of March, which will allow for hassle-free and smoother travel. If you hold a passport from any of the following countries, it means you're that much more free to travel between those listed sans visa: Austria, ...

Jan 11th, 2009 at 9:00AM: It seems like every effort to "go green" requires a change of behavior. Hotels let you choose to use towels or sheets twice. Your parents instructed you to turn the lights off when leaving a room. These measures can affect change, but they usually don't. Despite the clear benefits, people just won't change. But, what if you could find a way to protect the environment without having to change any ...

Dec 15th, 2008 at 4:00PM: This is an opportunity you don't see every day. On May 1st to May 4th, 2009, you can take a Pink Floyd themed cruise in the Bahamas. The cruise will include special guests, private parties, entertainment by Think Floyd USA – The American Pink Floyd Show, and "numerous other Pink Floyd themed experiences that will be one of a kind." My first question was "Is marijuana legal in the Bahamas?" ...

Dec 4th, 2007 at 8:00AM: Right now, it's -24°C (-11°F) where I live. Lovely, huh? So I couldn't help staring at this photo of the Bahamas from Patrick Powers with all-consuming envy. When you live in a place where winter seems to take up the majority of the year, it's sometimes hard to remember what warmth feels like, so I love looking at photos of places where parkas aren't necessary. Interested in having your ...

Another Photo of the Day from former Gadling blogger Willy. This one features a Lemon Shark, so named because of the ripe lemons they usually keep pinched between their teeth and gums. Lemon Sharks like to do this to keep their breath smelling fresh; they are, after all, the so-called Gentlemen of the Seas. Lemon Sharks are also very generous sharks. They simply love it when divers reach deep ...

Jul 20th, 2007 at 12:38PM: Each year, our friends over at Concierge.com put out a list of the world's sexiest beaches, featuring the best places to "flirt with millionaires, lick the salt off a margarita glass, siesta in a hammock, and gaze at blood-orange sunsets night after night." If these don't make you wish you were somewhere else, you've either got your toes in the sand right now, or you're dead to the world. Here is ...

Mar 16th, 2007 at 11:56PM: Are you ready for another fantastic Gadling recap of a week that was, um quite fantastic? I reckon so, but before I dig in I must say there were several other highlights to this week not listed here like how to speed through security check points or some new outdoor places in China to use the potty (only for those who aren't shy) which were recently blogged about, but let's go back further in the ...
