Plane Answers: Can passengers survive an explosive depressurization? {Gadling}
Apr 17th 2010 10:22PM You are right about the air getting sucked out of your lungs. I went thru altitude chamber training when i was in the Air Force for an F-15 fighter ride i was going on. The last part of the training was "Rapid Decompression" IT WAS RAPID. it felt like someone hit me in the chest. We had to stand up and put on our oxygen masks and " Breathe Normal" kind of hard when the oxygen mask is forcing air into your lungs.. you actually have to breath backwards. I dont know if thats is how it works on a comercial jet but thats how it works in a fighter.

May 25th 2007 11:58PM I am glad to see Rosie go, I never did like her and I never will. She should keep her opinions to herself and so should all the other "STARS" out there. Movies and the media influence our youth enough and they are killing this country that our fathers fought and died for. This war against terrorists must be fought and it must be fought over there. If is not fought and won then we will be living in fear of another terrorist attack in our own country.
