Feb 19th 2010 10:49AM I went to a McDonalds in upstate Vermont one night with friends. We first went into the restaurant at 10:15 p.m. (we used the bathroom) and went to the counter to order to be told that the lobby closed at 10:00 and we had to use the drive thru. I went back and got my car and drove back. A manager came out of the back door and collected the money from my car and the car in front of us. I found this odd and a breach of typical security. It took a long time to get through the line so I assumed they were busy, but with only 3 cars total in line and the lobby closed, I thought just how busy could they have been!!! I called the home office , no reply, and 2 weeks later, I notified corperate. They responded right away and told me I would hear from the local office. Another 2 weeks went by and no response from the home office.I didn't want free food, but an explanation about the service and maybe a simple 'we're sorry". I never heard from them and they never got another dime from me.

Feb 16th 2010 8:38PM I guess I would feel alot better about all the help to Haiti if they had given a damn about the New York tragedy or hurricane Katrina and sent their aid to us when we needed it. Not to mention all the homeless we have here in need of medical assistance. I am sorry they suffered a tragedy, but we have our own.

Nov 22nd 2009 5:21AM As a 27 year waitressing veteran, if you can't afford to tip, please don't order the steak! Many dont realize that your server has to claim 10 % of your meal as income and when you dont tip, you are costing your server. And tipping is YOU PAYING US? Would you be a little worried if what YOU EARNED this week depended solely on what I THOUGHT OF YOU? Because what I earned could also depend on whether you had a fight with your boyfriend, you dont like my sister or you just had a hair across your a$$ Servers arent only selling food, they are selling themselves.Some folks just need a target and personally I think a server should get tipped on the number of runs they make to your table, for a napkin and then coffee, not thinking you may drink your water in the next 20 seconds, requiring another trip, steak sauce, gravy, its too hot, too cold..thats our job??? then its your job to lay a little cash down to say thanks. WE didnt make the rule and with out us, youd be getting off your dead a$$ and getting it your self!

Take a good look at some of the families and you'll see an extremely high rate of drug abuse and suicide amongst the children who were outcasts their whole child hood because of their paretns beliefs....sad but true. That 'standing behing the potted palm' stuck me as the very essence of the little boy at the school Christmas parties. Rest in peace Michael....at last

Aug 18th 2007 10:00AM I have the world's most spoiled chihuahua and I found the cheapest clothes, but well made for my little Lola from pet edge.com She has dresses, jean jackets,formal, informal clothes and new to her wardrobe is her first bikini! She is piddle pad trained and that's where I found the best buy on them....worth a check..
