Oct 8th 2012 3:41PM I loved flying TWA and leaving from that terminal for internation travel. In fact, we were on the last flight from that terminal to Las Vegas 10 days after 9/11.
And, yes, air travel was glamorous and exciting. We still fly and are lucky to have the opportunity to see the world and we dress appropriately. We are representing America and try to dispell some people's view that we are all "Ugly Americans".

Jan 19th 2011 9:11PM Our beautiful 16 1/2 uear old Maltese, Kelsey died in my arms December 14th. She was deaf and almost blind but she knew us and loved to cuddle up to our cheeks for kisses. She died of old age and our hearts are broken. She had bladder surgery 4 years ago for kidney stones when many people would have made a different decision. She required 2 pills a day and and 3 minutes of IV fluids every other day to keep her kidneys hydrated. It was never a burden to us. She lived 4 more happy, healthy years. Now, my arms are empty and we are trying to take one day at a time. We are thankful for our extra time with Kelsey but 4 more years was not enough. Someone sent us a card that said "Some people dream of angels but we held one in our arms".

Aug 9th 2010 4:03PM I have a bombay 3 drawer chest beige color with some light floral design that is only 9 years old but has chipping paint. It is in an important front entry way and although I love the style I would love to see a brushed silver leaf type of finish on it to make it eye catching.

Jun 22nd 2010 8:51PM Our little girl Kelsey will be 16 on July 20. We spent (and are still paying off) $12,000 for kidney stone surgery 3 1/2 years ago. Our pet insurance paid $3100 of that. She also had bladder stone surgery when she was 7 at a cost of $3500. We didn't have insurance then. She is a Maltese and this breed is prone to this condition. She is old now...almost blind and deaf but she and we have adjusted. She is our baby and our daughters feel the same way. If she were in pain we would have to make a heart wrenching decision but paying for her to be healthy was not a decision at all. One more comment...pet lovers are special people and no one else could possibly understand. We only wish we could pay to make her young again!

Jun 8th 2010 5:43PM This is my 1st online comment ever. I feel very strongly about this subject and make-up in general. Gray hair, even if it's premature, makes one look old...it may look lovely on some people but it still looks old. Also, if you can afford toothpaste you can afford hair dye!

May 22nd 2007 10:20AM Rosie is certainly speaking for me. This administration is to say the least, an embarrasment to the American people both here and around the world. This president SHOULD BE IMPEACHED. We can't afford health care in this country or gasoline for that matter and our boys and girls are being murdered in Iraq. I have trouble with what people write about Rosie. No one likes how she speaks to Elisabeth, who in my opinion is naive, but how dare people write these hideous comments about Rosie. What happened to "practice what happened to practice what you preach". Is Rosie the only one to take a stand?
