Oct 19th 2012 6:50PM Since the 'body-scanners' were introduced, I arrive early and choose the 'pat-down'. I travel often and found the scanners to be invasive and, most of all, potentially harmful.
Jun 23rd 2012 8:52PM None of these choices are paramount with today's travelers...the want cheap seats with First Class service...you can't have both.
Jun 28th 2011 9:39PM Mom was a Flight Attendant; Dad, something to do with scheduling, I think. Airline people are a different breed from those who have no sense of adventure.
Jun 20th 2011 3:35PM Self-tanning: Banana Boat Everyday SunDial seems to be the only one which does not turn you orange...I've tried them all! Are you listening John Boehner?
Jun 11th 2011 7:14PM I don't see any of the billionaire banksters helping anyone but themselves. Good on you, Mr and Mrs Pitt.
Apr 11th 2011 6:15PM BETTY and FRED...
Are flight attendants to be put to pasture after a certain age? That is an archaic and age-bigoted attitude. I find the more 'senior' flight attendants to be more attentive and certainly more knowlegible than the 'me' generation ones. Remember also that flight attendants are trained to attend to your safety and go through extensive training yearly to provide that. Service is important, of course, but also remember you are on an airplane, not in a five-star restaurant with waiters and waitresses.
Apr 11th 2011 6:06PM Nothing about United...the 'meanest' airline! Obviously, it is NOT the meanest! I've had nothing but attentive customer service by both ground personnel and flight attendants. Please explain WHY United is 'meanest'?
Apr 6th 2011 7:21PM If Reagan hadn't fired the professional controllers, none of this could happen.
Mar 3rd 2011 8:16PM Tracy...first of all, I'm 70 and probably more fit than you are. Second, Flight Attendants (at least for United Airlines) are highly trained professionals in any type of emergency.
Feb 24th 2011 8:05PM In August 1990, a 747 landed at LAX with no nose wheel after an almost 16-hour flight from Sydney, Australia. More than 400 passengers were safely evacuated down the slides. I was a Flight Attendant on that flight.
