TSA Removes X-Ray Body Scanners From Major Airports, But Some Will Remain {Gadling}

Oct 19th 2012 6:50PM Since the 'body-scanners' were introduced, I arrive early and choose the 'pat-down'. I travel often and found the scanners to be invasive and, most of all, potentially harmful.

America's Meanest Airlines {Gadling}

Apr 11th 2011 6:15PM BETTY and FRED...
Are flight attendants to be put to pasture after a certain age? That is an archaic and age-bigoted attitude. I find the more 'senior' flight attendants to be more attentive and certainly more knowlegible than the 'me' generation ones. Remember also that flight attendants are trained to attend to your safety and go through extensive training yearly to provide that. Service is important, of course, but also remember you are on an airplane, not in a five-star restaurant with waiters and waitresses.

Video: ten terrifying landings, takeoffs and flights {Gadling}

Feb 24th 2011 8:05PM In August 1990, a 747 landed at LAX with no nose wheel after an almost 16-hour flight from Sydney, Australia. More than 400 passengers were safely evacuated down the slides. I was a Flight Attendant on that flight.
