Feb 27th 2010 12:25PM Whale meat is eaten by a few aging Japanese and Norwegians and an insignificant number of native people living near the Arctic. In fact more is used for pet food in Japan than the amount eaten by people world wild so whale meat is not an issue. The whales are hunted illegally in the Antarctic sanctuary by the Japanese. Other than man the big whales have only one natural enemy and that is the Orca, which in fact is a dolphin not a whale, They only attack the calves when a pod of orcas can separate it from the mother. Orcas are the ocean's top predator capable of attacking great white sharks. It is complete disrespect to orcas, and any other wild animal to be used as performers in circuses.

May 20th 2007 5:08PM I wouldn't underestimate the pressure that Animal Right groups can apply because it's not motivated by politics but by a great compassion for animals.
