Band on the Run: Train Crashes the Party {Gadling}
Aug 12th 2007 1:59PM Breaking up is hard to do. ;-) Past, present, future...
Ultimately we are all in control, you took back control of your art and life. Some times that takes or makes more work, but that is well reward with self achievement and self pride. Thanks You for your stories about your travels and life on the road.

Band on the Run: Gathering Food for Thought {Gadling}
Jul 31st 2007 8:16AM It's funny how people are the same all over, and yet we all want to have our own identities and clicks to feel like we belong. Mostly people just want to know that they are safe and that their way of life is going to be ok , and that there is good, and everyone is working towards that good (how ever they choose to work as long as it's going in the same direction). Here in Washburn if your great grandparents are not buried on the hill then you not from here. The only problem is that there are more of us outsiders than locals now. And we have big high flalutin ideas on how things should be done. Some good and some not so good. People that weather storms together are more accepting of differences because they know that they can count on the other person to be there and help. Stephanie is right they are all soft inside and probably would love to get to know you and hear about your travels around the world over a cup of coffee in the morning before returning to work. In time they might even want to know what you have been up to and help you out around your place just to get to hear more of those stories. Good luck with the breakfast club.

How did the young ladies Zheng sound in the room? I bet it sounded good. The line up is backwards from what I would have done. Start soft and work up in volume. Do audiences in Beijing talk during shows or are they quiet? How is it different or is it not different being on stage in Beijing?
Thank You!

May 29th 2007 8:17AM Hi Ember
Thank you for your post,insights,photos,stories, personal struggles, lessons learned, questions of purpose. You put into words what most people think and feel every day. This is also very evident in your music. Remember it's all the act of balancing , your personal life and your public life. Always hold on to you personal life a little closer as with out a good grasp on your personal life your public life will not be balanced. It also helps so you don't take the AOL people to seriously. LOL Peace and safe travels. AJO

I Love this blog!!! You writing is wonderfully descriptive and in throwling(sp?) and captivating!!
I like the fact that the sound guy let you take over and you felt confident in doing so. It takes a lot to walk up to a mixer like that, and you should be proud of your self for stepping up to help your friends out like that.
