If the state is cutting funding and grants for college, these kids will get a high school degree at best. :( As it was said before, lets hope she does get a TLC contract, or a book deal to help afford these children on her own.

Feb 12th 2009 11:03AM We can claim she's selfish, yes. We can claim she's taking advantage of government and state aid, we can even claim she's irresponsible. I dont feel, based on the 20 minute long interview and other statements, that she is a "bad" mother. She obviously loves these children, is attentive to their care, but regardless of love and level of responsibility, NO ONE on their own can care for 14 childrens all under the age of 8 with no income and an unsupportive family. It is a border line mental disease to keep breeding and not be responsible about it.
The Duggar's - 18 children, all intentional. Kate plus 8 - all intentional. I think she attempted to get a TLC contract, and jumped too early to get in the spotlight and its nothing but a negative feedback now.
I dont think giving the children up for adoption is the right way to go - there's so many couples out there unproperly screened for adoption, and leads to an even worse scenario. At least these children will be appreciated and loved with their mother. It will cost the state even MORE money to put them through the system.

May 10th 2007 3:36PM It would be nice to find shirts that will accomodate a larger chest. I find alot of shirts that are perfect for my work life; shoulders fit perfectly, length is ideal, sleeves are good, then i get discouraged whn my boobs make the shirt look stretched and small. wtf people! we can donate mostly everything we own these days - clothes, cars, toys, even organs... i wish i could donate my boobs and get rid of this "small shirt" curse!
