Ho, Ho . . . Whoa! Secularists Get the Holiday Spirit {Politics Daily}
Nov 24th 2009 11:55AM I did read the rest of your comment because I just wanted to say that Christmas is not just a Christian holiday. St. Nicholas is a true story and there was no basis, as far as I know, if he was Christian or not. Even though the 3 gifts were given on Christ's birth, does not make Christmas all Christian. I implore you to reverse roles to understand people who do not believe in God instead of being stubborn. God states in the Bible that you need to question your faith constantly to make sure it is strong. Maybe you should question it, take some time, and see it from the other side. I did, and I am only stronger because of my 6 years of absence from Church. God bless and try to keep an open mind as the AHA is spreading a sense of happiness and security.

Nov 24th 2009 11:50AM Hi David, I agree with Delia Boylan as this is a great article. I am a Christian, but the last quote from the AHA is a great touch. I firmly believe in not fighting these, but telling people that "Hey, if you want to become a Christian, I can sit down with you and tell you about God." This showing by the AHA really has no reason for Christians to retaliate. It will offend some, but what good does arguing with it do? It makes Christianity look like egomaniacs saying there is only one way. We are all human and have to live on earth together, first and foremost.
Thank you for the way the article was written without opinions and was reported with great quotes from the AHA in a very smooth fashion. Will look for more of your articles now.
Regards,
Brian
Microsoft Store Employees (Electric) Slide to Humiliating New Lows {Switched.com}
Nov 23rd 2009 3:29PM A nice touch taking a pic of your old laptop (which is the same one my work issues) and a dell monitor (no desktop shown in pic). I said I would sincerely apologize, and I do. I misjudged you, my fault. I won't count the 10 year old Mac, bc honestly, any computer person would think that's something you keep too.
Allow me to reiterate the other comments in my post that were neglected because I went on a Mac rant. I stated that this isn't about Microsoft, it is about the manager. You are giving them everything they hoped for and yet you bash the company. You bash Microsoft, but it looks like you have XP on your computer which means you upgraded at some point. If you dislike the company itself as much as you stressed your opinion in your article, then why not go Linux? You do realize the butterfly effect that if you bash them here, 1 or 2 people change, then get more people to change, eventually Microsoft's revenue is effected, then the output of programs is worse. Just saying, I would've put it a lot more polite or at least made fun of the local office instead of taking on a corporation that seems to be doing alright. Especially considering huge reviews on their last upgrade.

Nov 23rd 2009 10:57AM Hey Warren, I have $5 that says you are a Mac owner writing about Microsoft with your crude opinion of something you know little about. Please feel free to continue to use a system that has very little flexibility in how you use it because your lack in knowledge prohibits you from learning executables. I really hate the Mac vs Windows wars, but I do notice Mac users play it dirty and harsh. If I am wrong about your computer, I sincerely apologize. I doubt I am wrong considering how much you put down the company and not the individual store's manager. It's their call and like someone commented...it got everyone's attention. Hope you enjoy the latest upgrade of software on your Mac, because from what I read, it wasn't much. I can't wait to purchase Windows 7 shortly.

Nov 5th 2009 12:53PM Daynah...I really do not know where your story is coming from. Look at the vote because as of right now, almost 94% love him. It's the 6% who do not seem to take a stereotype and laugh at it. I really do not see a basis of this article except to have a very popular name be flashed so your opinion is read. I feel worse for having read this and contributed to your hit count honestly.
A Cleaning Routine for Busy People {Shelterpop}
Nov 4th 2009 2:59PM I totally agree with you Denise and thank you for sound advice! If both partners are working, a house maid once a week or so would be a great idea. I do know that in some cases the wife could feel somewhat unworthy as it seems like a disrespect, but I agree that it should be done. I am not married and do not know much about this yet except through my parents communications, but as the only person who seems to clean with me and my 3 guy roommates, it does get frustrating. =) Maybe I will pitch it to them about a house maid every so often to clean up their garbage haha!
A Cleaning Routine for Busy People {Shelterpop}
Nov 4th 2009 11:15AM I can't believe some of the non-sense that comes out of this article. If you are a stay-at-home wife, then this is what you do. If the wife and husband both work, then what makes you think that cleaning 2 hours twice a week is a possibility? Maybe once a week on a Saturday afternoon after a nap. I'm 26, work 9 hours, commute 2 1/2 hours and have rehearsals for music 3 times a week. What makes you think that I want to clean during the week? And if I have a weekend off from a gig, what makes you think the first thing I'm thinking is to clean? I would rather clean for 8 hours on one weekend every month or two then clean 4 hours every week. Just saying, this is not a very realistic idea in most people's world.
Also, one thought about having the kids help. Ya, my parents did that to me and next thing you know it, I was their slave for all chores as they sat around and did nothing. If you're going to have the kids get involved, you better be doing the same amount of work or more. Just saying, it is a psychology thing and you are their environment 90% of the time. Set an example first, then ask for help. Do not give orders. This will help your relationship with your kid so much!

Oct 20th 2009 4:03PM Look Hanna...at what point did you feel that your job was to decide how much someone spends on wine? I do not care if I'm paying $100 a plate, it is my choice on where I want to cut back. Your decision to change that person's drink to your amusement b/c you are missing out on maybe another $2 in tip (assuming you added gratuity in automatically) is what is disgusting with people now-a-days. It's not your choice and if it was such a fine-dining, then you talk to your manager about the change in offering this drink. Absolutely uncalled for and NO ONE deserves that treatment. Let me know when you're trying to go cheap on one thing to enjoy good on another and I would love to mess with you the same way. Wow!
Galley Gossip: How to get free beer in flight {Gadling}
Oct 16th 2009 5:17PM I do not fly much, but I love talking with anyone with a sense of humor. I am very sarcastic, so I remember when I was flying to Vegas with my buddies, we spread out in the back row. Well, lo-and-behold, the biggest passenger came to the back and we had a middle seat open. I verbally, and quietly, prayed for her not to come back and then when there was no option yelled "Damn it!" but only the crew heard it that was chatting with us. Well, needless-to-say, they started laughing hard and went to the back room. Before this, I told them that I would be downing a few drinks in light of the situation. (BTW, the woman that sat next to me and my brother was very nice, even though uncomfortable for us to sit next to because of her size, a great person!)
I bought drinks for me and my friends. A few rounds and always was nice to the flight attendants. I ended up getting a few free shots for me and my friends by "making them smile and have a good time with us." (They wouldn't drink with us for obvious reasons.)
Another BTW, best flight attendant announcement on the way to Vegas with this Southwest flight (I waited til now to say the flight name). Lets just say there were references to them walking around naked, sexual innuendos and improvised pantomiming =) All this by the flight attendant who looked like Tina Fey!

Sep 23rd 2009 2:21PM Do people not understand that this type of "music copying" has always existed dating back to the creation of music? In short, I will use Mozart as an example because most people know the name. He would take pieces composed by Royal Composers and "enhance" it to sound much better. It is sharing a culture and it has become about greed. People cover tunes all the time, but because someone makes your song sound better than you did, they get upset. Glad it was dismissed and hope there wasn't a side settlement we didn't hear about.
