May 24th 2011 3:51PM All the material things a person lusts after in their lifetime means nothing as death approaches ..but the memories of the experiences stays with them forever.
I did a lot of volunteer work, and saw so many people with so many regrets during their last moments on earth ..the main thing I heard is "I always wanted to DO this or that, but never did .."
So their nice home, new car, expensive furniture, material possessions meant nothing in their final days.
I have done a lot of "dangerous adventures" and my 84 year old Mother still nags at me .. but I am a happy man.
Instead of watching life pass you by, be PART of life, do the things that bring joy and excitement ..and someday, when your number is up, you can fade away smiling with no regrets.

Getting rid of highly-processed junk foods is the best thing we ever did ..and neither of us drink pop of any kind.
Neither of us smoke ..that is one of the absolute worst habits that anyone can be addicted to, but many American processed foods addict you with salt, heavy does of granulated sugar, and chemicals.
Restaurants load up food with MSG, lard, butter, salt, sugar, and grease .. and the portions are often 2 to 4 times larger than is reasonable to satisfy food cravings ..bad combination for your body.
Americans are some of the worst gluttons in the world .. easy living and abundant junk food is a very bad combination, resulting in massive numbers of unhealthy, obese people who die young or stay alive on drugs and surgeries for years after they would have died .. quality of their life is very miserable and expensive ..it costs everyone BILLIONS of $$$$$$$$$$$$$

I spent 46 years in manufacturing, rode motorcycles 30+ years, and attended lots of loud concerts.
I am legally deaf now .. it is a real handicap ..and caused me great communication problems.
2 years ago, I finally found a person that was not trying to sell me the highest-priced "solutions" ..he showed me exactly where the problems were, how the high ranges were deafness, and how much I had been missing. He fitted me with very powerful BTE (behind-the-ear)devices with 5 programs, wireless volume and channel controls. It was like a re-birth !!!!!!
For 20+ years, "experts" kept telling me that I needed a cochlear implant, major medical surgeries, and hugely expensive high-tech treatments. They all had big degrees, expensive offices, expensive cars ..and did not give a real damn about my hearing. Their "lifestyles" were the reason they were in business.
Be careful in picking a person that distributes hearing devices or has a big job title or a fancy office ..many of them are just rip-off artists.
The really great people have lots of clients, usually have a small office dedicated to YOU and the best way to HELP you. I am so happy to have found a good one ..after meeting with 13 others who were NOT honest with me.

Apr 8th 2011 3:30PM Quite a few of the Western and Southwestern states have long expanses of very flat, straight, boring highways. Texas is a HUGE state ..people who have driven across from East to West or vice-versa can understand WHY much of it should be changed to higher speed limits. My driving there was boring, because of the threat of a ticket in the lower speed, unreasonable speed traps ..cops love it, because everyone is guilty. They can stop anyone, any time.
I really wish Americans would support light rail, electric high-speed trains, and MagLev trains. Those of us who have done extensive travel overseas love these modes of transportation.
In China, I have taken MagLev in Shanghai..280 mph ..fantastic experience. Also, the high-speed "bullet trains" at 170-180 mph ..and "express" train from Lhasa Tibet all the way across China to Shanghai ..wonderful inventions, very safe, dependable and very comfortable.
USA is 20 years behind other countries in infrastructure and high-speed transportation ..really sad.
Americans spend all their time whining, complaining, bitching ..while nothing gets done ..yet taxes and government spending continue to go UP UP UP ..and unemployment stays very high, and our citizens keep dumbing-down the already very expensive education system.
Not a bright future for our children and grandchildren.
Democracies all down through history have never lasted very long because once a person realizes they can just VOTE for their friends and neighbors and relatives to pay for their welfare and other government programs, so they don't have to work, they will stick it to them, through Liberal politicians.

In the workplace, it is common for the pretty ones to have at least 1 or more "office spouses" ..which can easily be a fast route to "friends with benefits" .. "flings", "office get-togethers", and "company events" .
Many of the younger women are hot for older, richer, buff guys, having already played all the young , buff poor guys.
Young women who marry for money, social status, and image often fit the image of the Eagles's song "Lyin' Eyes" ..the beauty who got the Doctor, Corporate Executive, Business Owner to the alter ..then had lots of time on her hands to sneak out and play with those hot, muscled studs she used to date and live with.
Most men who cheat are tired of their cold, fat, whining wife criticizing them day and night, and demanding they be like someone they saw in a movie. He just wants some warmth, some passion, some acceptance ..and there are plenty of women ready to provide that.
Why do so few women trust each other ? The first thing they bring up in a fight is the other woman's sluttiness, lies, backstabbing, and cheating. They tell each other their deepest darkest secrets, then spill it to anyone who will listen ..just ask the local beauticians, servers, and hair stylists.
What I Learned From 12 Hours As a Bombshell {MyDaily}
Mar 26th 2011 2:55AM Most Caucasian American women I have known over the last 40 years have horrendous eating, drinking, and exercise habits ..so they tend to look horrible naturally. Makeup and jewelry and clothes and plastic surgery and Lasik and laser skin resurfaces seem to make THEM feel beautiful and desirable but sure turns off the men who have known them for a few years.
My wife is 49 years old, born and raised in South Philippines, on NO junk food, no smoke, no alcohol, no drugs, no makeup ..eating lots of fresh veggies and fish. Her beauty is real. SHe weighs 98 lbs, has 24 inch waist, exercises each morning and uses plant-based shampoo on her beautiful hair. Many people think she is 25 - 30 years old. I am very proud of her. Both of us are very health conscious. I am 64 and people often guess my age at 43-45.
All the "beauty shops" in the world will NOT make a better person, just a phony one.

Mar 21st 2011 3:04PM Young men in my area tell us older guys that they are just not interested in women who hit, berate, ridicule, lie, manipulate men.
A 25 year old told me what a "date" was like for him:
Took more than a month of asking her out .. she was "busy" (with other guys) ..finally arranged a lunch date ..she showed up 20 minutes late, chatting on her Iphone, sat down, rummaged in her handbag, gave him "tip money", finally hung up, ordered expensive food and 3 hard drinks..only ate half the food, drank ALL the booze, complained about her job (she makes more than he does) .. then left abruptly ..no thank you, no hug, no anything.
This is all too typical ..any women can get an instant guy on the dating websites and social networks ..flings are her preference ..why not ? All those "women's magazines" teach her how to be a "don't need a man" person. Most newspaper articles are written by women reporters, nearly all the "advice columns" cater to "women are victims" types and rarely blame women for anything bad. The Malls bring out the impulse-shoppers by catering to women, women, women.
2 of 3 NEW cars and SUVs are purchased by women. The colleges and universities are no place for men any more. Federal money and affirmative action has become legal discrimination against men. The Democratic party is full of radical women who are often single-issue voters (I want my abortions, to hell with everything else).
If women truly believe in "equality" and "equal pay", let's hire 50% women for all the dirty, hard labor, dangerous, hazardous, unhealthy jobs that men do. The guys can take the place of all those "poor" women on welfare programs, the guys can get all those grants, low-interest biz loans, hey, how about free medical ?, free dental ?, free child care, preferences in unionized, government office jobs with indoor, no-heavy lifting, cushy ergonomic work environment (which many women have).
We guys can drive by and smile, knowing that women are now "equal", working as killers in slaughter houses, sewer cleaners, foundries, building schools, malls (for men), cars and trucks (for men), working on railroads, in prisons, and hundreds of other outdoor, shift-work, dirty jobs that men have always done.

Feb 24th 2011 12:15AM Women who claim MEN are such "horrible abusers" dominate the chat boards, the "Dear Abby" type columns, and the "dating comment" sites.
What my wife and I see out here in the real world is a lot of abuse, physical and verbal, by WOMEN against MEN.
Many women have become very tough, in-your-face, raunchy and profane ..and many of them are drinking heavily, smoking, and using drugs...and getting serious jail sentences finally for violent behaviors.
But we men know that the women's groups will constantly claim that MEN are, were, and will always be the problem.
Most "feminist truths" are not true.

Jan 29th 2011 4:16PM I work with lots of people .. many of the women are much more raunchy and profane than the men. A number of them sent email Man-Bashing jokes to each other and got caught, but no punishment. A man who had a swimsuit calendar INSIDE the door of his personal locker was reprimanded.Many men report women brushing their breasts against them, touching them, using very sexually-suggestive language ..yet no reprimands to the women, because HR is nearly all women and minorities. It is heavily stacked against the men and women take full advantage of it. They know they can use their "charms" to influence promotions, desirable work hours, get on power-committees, take LONG lunch and coffee breaks, use company computers to do online dating, order items online, and many other non-company activities. Same old, same old. She does it with no punishment ..or if caught, she turns it around against a man just like the high school airheads do.

Dec 16th 2010 1:25AM This woman's "bizarre eating" is not even excitng to most of the adventure travelers I know.
Having traveled quite a bit (5 trips to China, 3 times Hong Kong,1 to Japan, 1 to Vietnam, 1 to Thailand, Singapore, 6 trips to Philippines .. I have seen hundreds of "unusual to Westerners" foods eaten.
I have eaten snake soup, shark fin's soup, bird nest soup, tortoise soup, broiled scorpions, drank snake wine, munched on ant bars, crocodile, roasted lizard, beetles, fish head, pork brains (scrambled with eggs, whole baby octopus, balut, 1,000 year old eggs, chicken feet, fish eyes, fish lips, etc. I am just an amateur ..my neighbor / long-time pal is Cantonese and he eats nearly anything that is prepared correctly and tastes good.
Many Asians will not eat an American hot dog, TV dinner, or highly-processed lunch meats ..cause they know what is in them.
