Mar 28th 2011 1:51PM how sad is this bs..fred could of been sent to a zoo or another part of south africa less populated..not put down..this sucks, people suck esp those in authority positions. fred should of attacked the people who caged him , then there would have been a reason to take his life away from him...rip fred you will be greatly missed by all who loved you..people suck big time..this is beyond any reasoning,there were other choices i'm sure.i'm not for zoos but without them these beautiful animals would be the victims of poachers etc as long as the zoo has the expertise and a knowledgeable vet on duty and have the knowledge to work with the animals in their care this gorgeous animal would still be alive..
