Whoopi Rails Against Baby Carriages and Scooters at Disney World on 'The View' (VIDEO) {AOL TV}

Dec 13th 2010 7:06PM Whoopi - shame on you! Put yourself in the place of a person who cannot walk distances but wants to enjoy the parks with her children and/or grandchildren.
What you SHOULD be railing about are the inconsiderate idiots who see a small "open space" in front of that scooter and try to jump in front of the rider. THOSE PEOPLE SHOULD BE RUN DOWN. If I speed up, it is to get away from someone who might be walking and NOT looking at where they are going. And that includes parents holding their child's hand and pushing them in my direction - again without really looking. I have a crushed vertebrae and need to use the scooter at the parks.
It is the walker who is dangerous - not the rider.

Are you America's "most frustrated traveler"? {Gadling}

Oct 25th 2010 8:33PM Coming home from LA last July was horrific. 2 screaming children behind me and 1 several rows ahead. The 2 behind me were entertained by their parents after takeoff. The parent's of the 3 year old in front of me brought 1 small stuffed animal to keep the child busy on a 3 1/2 hour ride- no books, no games. The entire plane was frustrated. A unified "at last" was heard when he fell asleep 20 minutes before landing.
Now to make matters worse, the Airline lost my luggage and all the new things I purchased along with all my conference materials obtained during the week. So the whole week was a bust. And I even had the privilege of paying $25 for them to lose my luggage! Migraine anyone?

The Great Typo Hunt -- Two Friends Correct Grammar Across the USA {Asylum}

Aug 19th 2010 6:53PM My pet peeves are 'there' instead of their (or thier), 'seperate' instead of separate
and 'to' used instead of too. I had a teacher in grade school who gave us some great advice on how to remember the correct spelling. Sep-a-rate to spell separate words even though 'sep' is not a real word and 'to' with 1 'o' as in going to a destination. Too with 2 'o's' would be the also factor - more than one person or thing.

Passenger Suing American for $5 million for Lost Bag {AOL Travel News}

Jul 26th 2010 7:58PM That doesn't give me hope. I flew from LA to Chicago on Julty 17th and my luggage never made it home. I was in daily contact with the baggage people and they were nice on the phone. After 5 days they turned me over to Dallas Central and the first person I spoke to on Friday was helpful and answered my questions. Their hours are Mon-Fri 7:30am to 4:00pm with a 45 minute lunch break. Not very convenient for someone who works those hours. The "lady" I spoke to today, basically told me that if I did not get my report in they would not continue to look for it. I explained that I was trying to get everything together including the receipts - and she stopped me and said they they needed the signed report to continue. Emphasis on the "signed."
I wonder what would happen if I contacted my credit card company and tried to stop the payment from going thru............

'Dancing With the Stars' Names a Winner - Now It's Time for You to Win Glam Rock Watches {Stylelist (Main)}

May 27th 2010 9:17PM My favorite moment was watching the team dance and listening to Niecy talk about her jiggly parts. That somewhatlightened up the tenseness of the competition.

Upfronts News Roundup: Bubble Show Updates {AOL TV}

May 18th 2010 9:28PM Cold Case is a great show. The only reason it was cancelled is because it's on CBS on Sunday nights.
After whatever sports program ends - 60 Minutes is on followed by the Amazing Race. Then of course it is Cold Case. The timing is horrendous because it can start anywhere from on time (rare) to 50 minutes late, which is the norm. If you are not a fan of the previous shows - then you have to figure out what time to start your DVR.
What it boils down to - is that we are creatures of habit and want our shows to start on the hour - not 8:16 or 8:3& or even 8:50. So CBS gets taped.
If we could count on CBS to be on time - then the show would not have been cancelled.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Slams Erin Andrews, Then Cries {PopEater}

May 5th 2010 7:48PM First of all - the SHOW dresses the dancers. Secondly - the peeper drilled the hole in the wall to see her naked in the shower.
One has nothing to do with the other. Besides, her costumes cover more skin than bikinis do.... been to a beach lately?
What do you want her to do - hide herself the rest of her life?
Wake up people . . Elizabeth is 5 cans short of a six-pack. And to think that she "talked this over with her 5 year old"... what a ditz.

'Burn Notice' Renewed for Seasons 5 and 6 {Inside TV Blog}

Apr 18th 2010 1:16PM Good Going USA! Great show - fast paced and somewhat "McGiveresque." Characters have a unique chemistry. Always DVR when we cannot watch - both Hubby and I love this show.

Readers Share Their Favorite Girl Scout Cookie Memories {Lemondrop}

Feb 3rd 2010 8:52PM I remember selling cookies as a Girl Scout - and the box was only 25 cents. All They had at that time was the original butter cookie. When my children were scouts, I became the Troop Chair and then the Service Unit (10 Troops) Chair. Our livingroom and garage were wall to wall and floor to ceiling with cookies. It was a real challenge to have every member pick up their cookies before 10 PM! There are some great memories here.

What You Probably Don't Know About Windows 7 {Switched}

May 20th 2009 5:33PM I'm with you. I absolutely detest Vista, and have had nothing but problems with it. I, too, want to know if Microsoft is going to let Vista users have it for gree. They should!
