Jun 4th 2012 2:50PM The article is referring to U.S. Route 66. The one you are confusing it with is a New York State route. Obviously, businesses along this state route are playing off the "route 66" theme to provide additional hype for them.

Jun 4th 2012 12:52PM Along with increased real estate valuations (which make it economical to sellto developers), the proliferation of Cable Movie channels, video/DVD rentals, and Netflix, it should also be noted that with both parents working (at least more often than not as compared with the 50's and 60's), that kids don't need a drive in movie for their "sexploits" They have unchaperoned afternoons after school.

Feb 17th 2012 11:34PM It would appear that the agreed "life use" clause was not in writing and not recorded with the town clerk land records. (real estate recordings are by town here, they are by county in most of the country west of the Hudson). If it were, then it would seem that it would have "followed' the property upon transfer to the trust consisting of he and his wife. "Life use" usally means she has a right to stay there. Official "Life use" or no "life use", what he is doing is despicable

The Catholic Church does not use the phrase "high holydays", but if it did, the 3 days from Holy Thursday evening, when he celebrated his Last supper,and instituted the sacraments of the Euchariast and Holy Orders, thru Easter Sunday evening, when he appeared to the apostles in the upper room and institutesd the sacrament of confession, or reconciliation, these would be it.

Also, this song was the 3rd of 3 straight nimber 1 songs on Billboard that dealt with death. The 2 preceding nr 1 songs were El Paso and Running Bear. Also, it is ironic that Johnny Preaston, who sang Running Bear, also died within the past week.
