Amazing Race 13 recap 8: Kazakhstan makes Bizarre Foods look tame {Gadling}
Nov 17th 2008 11:38PM Jamie your commentary on Kazakhstan is absolutely ignorant.
I can take you to a restaurant in Arizona where they served fried Rattlesnakes.
Would I imply that all American's eat this way like you have done with the people of Kazakhstan?
The Kazakhs indeed are some of the friendliest and warmest people in the world. And many of them in the city of Almaty speak English.
If your compadres couldn't get help in this city then that tells me that they were probably acting like arrogant foreigners that nobody wanted to help.
Any idiot that believe Borat represents this great country also believes that Austin Powers represents the UK.
So the next time you want to ridicule a people why don't you open up your own photo album first.

The 25 Most Exquisitely Sad Songs in the Whole World: No. 1 {Spinner}
May 6th 2007 2:37PM You TOTALLY missed out on any progressive rock songs that in my book are way deeper.
Try "Ripples" by Genesis.
A song about faded beauty and growing old.
"The face that launched a thousand ships
Is sinking fast, that happens you know,
The water gets below.
Seems not very long ago
Lovelier she was than any that I know.
Angels never know its time
To close the book and gracefully decline,
The song has found a tale.
My, what a jealous pool is she.
The face in the water looks up
She shakes her head as if to say
That the bluegirls have all gone away.
Sail away, away
Ripples never come back.
Theyve gone to the other side.
Look into the pool,
Ripples never come back,
Dive to the bottom and go to the top
To see where they have gone
Oh, theyve gone to the other side..."
