Jul 28th 2011 5:51PM I think you are under estimating Titusville and the Space Coast Area. This area went through a similar phase back in the late 70's when the Apollo program ended. Yes, financially it was devastating for the area. Although it took almost a decade to do so it did rebound.
NASA is planning that with the new programs in the works that the area will rebound much quicker due to the end of the shuttle program than we experienced with the end of Apollo.

My question is why anyone would have a problem with stopping someone who is testing positive from working such sensitive position.
I am not against people wanting to do what they want to do.
But, if you're actions in any way shape or form effect anyone eles then yes Houston we have a problem. Get real.

Aug 11th 2010 7:56AM Because of Obama's decision to take the Space program to the private sector thousands of residents who have held the same jobs for 20 years plus are being laid off. Which leads to local businesses closing, leading to more loss of jobs, our area is on a downward spiral.
If Obama's office does not step in soon to help our area soon we are going to have the highest homeless rate in the nation.

Mar 1st 2009 8:34AM I redeemed my coupon on Thursday and had no problems- I asked which sub would be the one to get with the coupon and the owner of the store even pointed me towards the most exspensive sub on the menu.
They were gracious and even thanked me for coming. I will go back to that store again.

Jan 24th 2009 9:05AM I feel for the people who lost their jobs while this man decorated his office. How depressing it must be for them to know that he put more value on new curtains than their welfare.
