Sep 26th 2007 2:51PM Thanks for such glowing praise! The picture was actually taken in the evening at the Temple of Heaven. We had gotten locked in when several of the gates closed and had to search to find a way out. It can be wonderful to get lost sometimes.

The kites were homemade and were constructed to look like eagles or other birds of prey. It was something else to watch these old me lift their kites into the air without running (hence the size of the spools), and with barely 6 feet of space between rows of trees.

Jul 12th 2007 11:59AM I would be upset too, if I had to move to Canada. You know, you could always move back to china since you seem to hate your own country, food, and language so much.

Apr 25th 2007 7:13PM I just want to note that the asparagai still have their grocery store rubber bands on them. That would probably taste pretty bad.
