Jul 1st 2012 11:45AM My experiences disagree with the writer's.... While there are many nice French people in Paris, of course, I found the "stereotype" to be most certainly true...!! At first I thought it was just a dislike of Americans until I observed, over and over again, how they are rude to each other as well...!! Too many examples to get into here, but one at the train station stunned me.
Also, a French friend of mine here (he moved to the U.S. at the request of a French company), has been here for 20 years, but his mother said (when he came here) that she would NEVER set foot in America, even to visit her son, and she never has...... Sad.

May 6th 2011 4:14PM West Side Story was the 1st musical I ever saw (in '57 when I was 12) & it's what got me hooked on musicals for my entire life...!! Sat in the 3rd row, saw the sweat, heard the breathing close up & was hooked...!!! Thanks for a lifetime gift. I'm sure you affected many others....WELL DONE..RIP.

The way they can offer things so low is that thousands of people pay each time they up their individual bids & that's what pays their profit and allows them to sell you something so cheaply... They are actually selling the auction process...!!! Brilliant...!! In the "wish I'd thought of that" category...!!!

Oct 10th 2010 7:02PM Ah... Kristina, the hotel Nazi...!!! She should keep in mind, she is supposedly in the HOSPITALITY business. And guests are not there to particularly cater to the world according to Kristine.... Some things she said make sense and are fine, but her overall snarky attitude shows contempt for her guests and indicate she should NOT be in the HOSPITALITY business...!!!!
