Justinianos' Bronx Home is 12 Inches From Apartment Building Construction, and It's Ruining Their View {AOL Real Estate}

Jan 19th 2013 9:03PM That developer sure screwed the pooch on that one. Heaven forbid but should a fire break out in the apartment building and jump the gap to the Justiniano's house, he would be liable for any damages caused to their home because the fire department could not get in to the area to fight the fire. He may be LEGALLY in the right to build it that close, but if something happens to the Justiniano family because of him and his screwup, I hope that they wind up getting every cent that he has. He probably built it that close on pourpose to try to force them to move and then he could pick their place up cheap for an expansion. His lack of common sense for not leaving a larger space as a firebreak is beyond comprehension, and I hope that the Justinianos call HIM to be their babysitter every time that a noisy tenant awakens any little ones. I wonder how many people he paid off to get approval to put up that eyesore.

10 Pieces Of Travel Advice To Ignore {Gadling}

Sep 8th 2012 6:15PM Number 11. They'll always accept Travelers Checks that use the American money system. When I went to France, it was rare that I found that to be true and I had to keep searching for Banks to exchange the checks for Local Currency. I told my advisor I wanted to get the checks in Euros for the trip, she said "NO get it in American." Guess who was right? I'd have had a better exchange rate here than I did there.

Number 12. Don't try to use the Foreign Language classes you had in High School or College. BULLSH**, the natives will be more understanding and greatful that you took the time to try to learn their language than if you only spoke your own and expected them to do all the translating. True, High School and College kids might want to talk to you in English to practice theirs but that doesn't mean that EVERYONE wants to do so.

Do You Need A Backpack To Be A Backpacker? {Gadling}

May 7th 2012 3:19PM Well, there is always a compromise, the Rolling Backpack. It has enough room for the necessities and can switch from rolling small suitcase to backpack in moments by lowering the handle and putting on the straps. Nothing easier. I use a wheelchair and it has saved me many hours of grief by its flexibility.

Octogenarians Fined $12,000 Over Cat {Pawnation OLD}

Jan 8th 2011 1:07PM Emotional Support Animals, like Service Animals, ARE NOT PETS According to HUD and the Fair Housing Act. If the cat were a SEEING EYE DOG or some sort of help for a VISIBLE disability, the case would have been laughed out of court on grounds of the Americans with Disabilities Act. But when the stigma of mental disease or debility rears its head, many good people are told to get rid of their medically necessary animals due to such insinsitive south ends of north bound mules that run such condo commandos. May the Garzas have better luck in another facility, Vista Pines needs to be turned into a dog park and may the Vista Pines board come down with enough illnesses that require them to either get a Medical Alert Animal OR change their "Holier than Thou" attitude like so many schoolboards are having to on the subject of service animals. I know my Diamond,a home trained lab mix medical alert dog, has saved my and my cousin's life over a dozen times in the two years we have had her. I pray that those people will not need the services of such an angel, ESPECIALLY for their CHILDREN. Those Vista Pines old fogeys can go hop in a lake for all I care

Kesolowski Awake After Vicious Busch Wreck {Fanhouse Motorsports Blog}

Sep 2nd 2007 1:35PM Jeff and all you others that Don't care for NASCAR, there is such a thing as an off button on the TV and the mouse on the computer WILL let you navigate away from a particular blog. If you don't care for what some might define as a sport, that is your perogative, just don't spoil everyone else's love for the fast cars and cute guys and girls that do drive them, and don't say that they are idiots because they do what they do unless you have done it yourself.

You say that NASCAR fans go to just watch the wrecks, hoping someone gets killed,what does that say about you? YOU were the one that came to this page to find out all the gory details that you could to fuel your passion for hating a group of people's enjoyment. And so you get this right in your reply, I am a 47 year old female that wishes I were in the same kind of condition that these drivers are.

Brad, I hope you get well soon and I hope to see you back on the tracks in top form. God speed you to recovery.

World's Oldest Rock Stars {AOL Video Blog}

Apr 18th 2007 9:35AM this goes to show that music is timeless and you can enjoy it no matter what your age. The Bible says "Make a joyful noise unto the Lord", it doesn't say it has to be pretty or by just the young or by the rich pop stars making megabucks from their CDs because some paid DJ says that this is what people are supposed to think is the best kind of music out there. So if these guys are sticking it to the younger generations by using their "kids'" music to get their point across then more power to them. YAY GRANDPAS!!
