Ten tips to make your trip through the airport security checkpoint easier on everyone {Gadling}
Jan 27th 2010 1:23PM Yes, as it so happens I am an Amateur Traveler. Amateur comes from the Latin and means to do something out of love.
Handsome, universally beloved travel blogger defeated by overhead luggage bin {Gadling}
Mar 28th 2009 11:15AM When I saw the headline, I thought you were talking about me :-)
Last night I was on an already delayed flight but after we pulled out of the gate no one could close one of the bins so we had to head back to the gate. Fie!
Can you have a life and work at a startup company? {The Jason Calacanis Weblog}
Mar 10th 2008 11:49AM You can have a family life and work at a startup but it isn't always easy. I joined my first startup in 1989 a month before my second child was born. After 4 years at Apple when that imploded in 1992 I joined my second startup in 1996 and still work there. I have seen marriages break up caused by the long hours and the stress.
Marriage and family also requires a great amount of work to do it right and the rewards of doing that right are also tremendous. My kids are now 20 and 18 still like spending time with me. My wife and I have been married for 26 years.

Travel tips: Don't keep your money in one place {Gadling}
Feb 27th 2008 8:20PM When I talked to someone in Brazil recently there had been a number of tourists who had been robbed. The problem was not just that they did not distribute their money. The problem was for some reason some tourists are carrying around $1000 in cash. I don't understand that behavior. I am with Anna. Just don't carry so much cash.

Stargate Atlantis: Travelers {AOL TV}
Oct 28th 2007 10:58AM I too am hoping this is more than a one shot episode. The Travelers would make a nice addition to the Stargate Atlantis universe.

Journeyman: Game Three {AOL TV}
Oct 9th 2007 11:36AM The even simpler answer about Jack is that he does not believe Dan is a time traveler. Although at some point that 2007 $20 bill that he got from a guy in the past may came back up in the story line. It is probably locked away in evidence somewhere.
NBC's Chuck is very Mac-heavy {TUAW.com}
Sep 26th 2007 12:49AM I liked the show also.
Maybe they got great enjoyment from trashing a Mac ;-)

The 4400: The Great Leap Forward (Season Finale) {AOL TV}
Sep 17th 2007 2:36AM I like the session finale, although I was also surprised by the high body count. But that was pretty clear to me by the end of last weeks show. Someone who kills half the people around the, ouch. I wonder why they did not at least try and give him the supplements.
I did like the NTAC agents getting their abilities. Teleportation, cool.
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip: What Kind of Day Has it Been (series finale) {AOL TV}
Jun 29th 2007 11:53AM I thought this was one of the best series finales I have seen (especially counting the last 3 episodes). The only sad thing for me was that it was a series finale of my favorite series on TV. Time for me to watch less TV.
Stargate Atlantis: The Return (part 2) {AOL TV}
Apr 15th 2007 11:24AM 1) The ancient ship is presumably still stuck half way between galaxies waiting for a tow truck.
2) Was anyone else disappointed that the writers gave us a ship full of aliens ad no time to get to know them?
