A Canadian in Beijing: Proud Love for the Pedestrian Overpass {Gadling}

May 21st 2007 4:07PM Ember. You're such a geek :) But really, those things are cool. I wish we had more of them here. It would be way cooler to run across one of those rather than having to wait for a light, for instance. April and I have often lamented the lack of pedestrian overpasses when out for a long run :) Your pictures show more elaborate ones than I have seen in other places before.

May 18th 2007 8:16PM LOL. Those pants are hilarious. But functional, I guess. It must be an Asian way of doing things. Saw young kids peeing in the streets in Korea as well. But no crotchless clothes. Perhaps that is a newer style.

A Canadian in Beijing: The Inevitability of Karaoke {Gadling}

May 18th 2007 8:11PM Ember, haha. Karaoke. Some things in China and Korea are so similar. It was popular there when I was there. Singing rooms abounded. Sounds like you had a good night.
