Feb 10th 2010 7:37PM The healthcare/insurance matter is shameful - France and Canada and others take care of their citizens. My daughter is 41 and hasn't had insurance since she was 21 and taken off my insurance. Multiple health problems. We struggle along and pray that we can make it. When I retire we will probably move to Canada unless President Obama can get a change made. It's an absolute disgrace. Those who have coverage are smug and self-righteous, with no compassion for others. Public education is for everyone, and health care also should be.

Oct 10th 2009 12:22PM I always tip - used to clean motel units and I was so thrilled when somebody left me something (not often). A couple of retired schoolteachers left me $2, a brownie and a piece of fudge - made my day! Usually I leave $1 a day per person.
