Nov 10th 2009 5:07AM Interesting, at one point the story says that a video shows the one guy scanned everything he had and paid for it at the self-service register and then the security guy verifies it and then the store sends the guy a bill for $158.40. Something doesn't add up, did the guy NOT pay for the lighters or did he pay.

Nov 7th 2009 5:11PM Hog wash I say, these employers are taking advantage of the unemployment in the country, why should a nurse take $60K a year, they were getting that 20 years ago, not saying they should get millions like ball players get, but certainly not wages from 20 years ago, with what costs are today. I have nearly 40 years in my profession and "high skilled" jobs in my industry are in the range of $40K a year or even less. So these companies that say they cannot find highly qualified people, maybe they need to offer better wages.

Oct 19th 2009 1:00AM The truth of the matter is that with so many out of work and no real jobs are left in the country since so much has been exported out, that the employers are cutting the wages they will pay. $60 thousand a year for a registered nurse, should be double that, my ex made that in 1985. I read in one responce that we will either be working in the medical field or a Wal Mart, shoot could be the same place since Wal Mart started having medical clinics in their stores.
I have been working overseas for 60K a year, used to be getting three times that.
