Affirmative action or quotas or whatever have nothing to do with her success - her personality and people skills and UEBERTALENT have taken her to the top and it's the "viewers" reactions to her that took her to these heights. YOU CAN'T take that away from her. She's a polished and poised professional.

Nov 12th 2007 11:40PM TYRA ROCKS ! She's Awesome ! Mmmmmmmmmmmmm she's like a breathe of fresh AIR ! Say IT GIRL ! She's not afraid to "go there" - I definitely see her as the inheritor of the Oprah Legacy/show. She's to be admired for overcoming some serious adversity and jealousy toward her! Kudos to TYRA ! I don't give a crap what her colour is.... she stands alone as a TALENT without a COLOUR - she might disagree with me....but she transcends gender and racial profile/makeup...she just "IS" ...she is the TYRA - a Great gracious HOST and INTERVIEWER with a wonderful personality - She could be Fat as a house and I'd still lover 'er ! :D

Let's try and be fair....this is biased with the only intent of "dissin" Oprah. Jesus C. she is not perfect but she's THE BEST ! She's really a wonderful wonderful person and has really contributed so much POSITIVE to society...she's shaped it and "growed" (lol) it up during her career ! She's a "KULTURKUENSTLERIN". :D

Sep 20th 2007 2:50PM It sounds like fun....can't imagine anyone NOT having a good time. :D It does suck that people keep marketing homos as a bunch of wild out of control drugged up drag Queen culture......when in reality...most homos are boring sacks.... The majority of Gay People are married to the opposite sex and have children. Sssssssssssssooooooooo put that in your pipe and smoke it !! It's ok to be RADICAL and WILD and Free spirited at Mardi Gras...cuz that's what it's supposed to be. It's a great time to relax and exhale and just "let it all hang out" and be yourself or....be whoever you wanna be.....as long as you don't hurt yourself or others.... right ? Royt? RIGHT !

Apr 9th 2007 9:16PM At first I was shocked but now I see it as a harmless comment joke....just like people with their "those dumb blonde ho's" comments and such. Many blacks among themselves call eachother this or much worse but they aren't being mean or serious about it. I'd really be upset if something TRULY horrible was said or violence was advocated against them.....but you can even say: "Look at those cute wonderful nappy headed hos"...and then it's not as bad either......it's endearing. One must really know the "reason" behind a comment like this and the "inflection". BTW: I have not "HEARD" it said yet......but I'm sure he didn't say it with MALICE but just said it to say it as a joke. My friends and I call eachother names we don't really mean which taken out of context might sound offensive to some. I'm kind of sick of all the "pretend racial comments" when there are much more serious opinions and comments we need to go after. He also didn't use the "N" word..... and "HO" can be heard nearly everywhere today.......to the point where it doesn't mean anything. People say these kind of things and don't really mean it. People need to chill out. I think there's a MOUNTAIN of hostility of blacks against whites in language and behavior much of which we dont' hear. It's a TWO WAY street...let's not pretend SOCIETALLY ...that it's always whites "verbally abusing" blacks either.
