Jul 1st 2010 2:34PM I'm Canadian and agree with everything said except Tim Hortons. I really don't think it has good food or coffee. It's just dirt cheap.
Jun 7th 2010 12:37PM I'm Chinese. Even though now I don't eat any fast food, I used to like KFC in China a lot. The answer to why KFC is more popular than McDonald's in China is simple: Chinese people don't like beef patties. KFC's fried chicken just simply tastes better than McDonald's hamburger to us Chinese, period. I bet if you do a research in McDonald's in China, their chicken products will be more popular than beef products. Unfortunately, KFC beats McDonald's hands down when it comes to chicken. And the fried chicken from KFC in China is actually less greasy than those from America.
BTW, I don't think double down will be popular in China because Chinese people don't like bacon either.
Apr 26th 2010 2:08PM Man, don't they know how much electricity costs in China?
Mar 2nd 2010 6:39PM @skyblaze
Agreed. Remind me which gadget site kept bitching about lack of multitouch on Android again?
Feb 8th 2010 8:50PM Just shut up already. It's a unlocked phone even if you sign a contract with TMobile. $150 sounds pretty reasonable to me.
Feb 8th 2010 4:17PM Actually, can somebody explain to me how Grooveshark works? I'm always amazed by how they get get away with what they do.
Jan 20th 2010 4:16PM I don't even read New York Times when it's free.
Mar 5th 2009 1:24AM I crossed at that port many times. I have no complaints about the guards there. Last time I applied TN status there, the guy was a newbie and really slow. But he was very nice and very apologetic.
So basically, the douche deserved it.
Feb 20th 2009 11:42AM Can't Chinese auto companies come up with better names for their cars? Five babies? WTF does that mean?
BTW, you know why this car won't appeal to Chinese? Because it's not like that electricity is much cheaper than gas there.
