Sep 7th 2007 3:40PM What a great post...
And what a great place...I would love to take a night or two in there sometime...Preferably during swimming weather...Ahhhhhh, I can feel my toes in the water already.
Jul 31st 2007 5:39PM What a great story! Thanks for sharing. I absolutely love being around children. They always help remind you of how to enjoy life for what it is, and to not overthink it sometimes. And Rowan is perfect for that, what a sweet little boy, that I'm happy to have had the pleasure of meeting.
Jul 11th 2007 5:44PM Oh, Ember...I shed a few tears for you my friend.
I have truly enjoyed reading your stories, trying to pronounce the Mandarin in my head proved especially interesting/difficult.
I have no doubt that you will go back to China many times through out your lifetime.
I look forward to reading about your adventures in North America! I was so happy when I read that part at the end! Your writing, your observations, your thoughts are always so beautiful and thought provoking for those reading your words.
We'll see you this weekend! Save travels until then!
Jun 27th 2007 10:50AM Ember,
That is fantastic!! So detailed and very helpful!! Maybe someday if I ever get to go to China I can use some of those phrases!
Jun 2nd 2007 2:34PM Ember - How absolutely wonderful to read about your first official show!! You sound so thrilled in your desriptions, and looked so happy in the photographs!
I, too, would love to know what songs you decided to share with your first official audience in China.
Love from Albany, NY!
May 10th 2007 9:34AM Beautiful entry Ember! This was so great to read!
Sounds like you're really doing well and having a great time over there (not that I had a thought otherwise)!!
Can't wait for the next installment. This really is the next best thing to actually going to China...
Apr 24th 2007 9:00AM Ember,
I'm sorry to hear that you had a rough day. I certainly knows what it feels like to want to retreat to a familiar and comforting space. I hope this sort of day will be a rarity for you, as I'm sure it will. By the end of your stay folks will be asking you for directions, I'm sure...
Also, I just wanted to say that I right there with you on loving Air Supply. I always have and always will! :)
Oh, and I'm really enjoying reading your entries here. It is a wonderful insight!
Apr 9th 2007 12:55PM What a beautiful entry. Thanks Ember!
Can't wait to see you stateside - probably at Caffe Lena's!!
