Scientology Spokesman Tommy Davis Leaves Interview in Anger {Popeater}

Oct 26th 2009 7:33PM Mr. Davis, "Me thinks thou dost protest too much." It seems it's not difficult to offend a group who appears to not mind offending others.

White House Goes After Glenn Beck 'Smear' and Fox News 'Lies' {Politics Daily}

Oct 2nd 2009 12:07AM Looks like Glenn Beck has written an autobiographical book on how to deal with himself. Wonder if he can even read it?

Hom Creates Underwear for Left-Handed Men {Stylelist}

Sep 24th 2009 11:37PM The toilet seat usually has hinges. If it's up and you want it down, put it down. If it's down and I want it up, I'll put it up. What's so difficult about this? If you really cared about me you'd make sure it is up after you finish!

MMA Is No Breakthrough for Women {Fanhouse Main}

Aug 19th 2009 7:12PM NO one belongs in any ring fighting another human being or other species as a form of entertainment or a so-called sport!

U.S. Postal Service wants to deliver mail 5 days a week, not 6 {WalletPop}

Jan 30th 2009 10:58AM What in the world are you talking about in this sentence: "I worry about grandparents who receive Medicare checks..."?

Hot Seat: Will McCain Be Bush's Third Term? {Politics Daily}

Jun 27th 2008 1:42PM George W. Bush is the worst thing to happen to this country (named The United States of America, not "America") since Ronald Reagan, probably even worse than that. I was a registered Republican from the day I turned 21 until a little over a year ago, approximately 42 years. I suppose I certainly qualify as a VERY slow learner. I didn't leave the GOP, it abandoned the principles of Abraham Lincoln and it abandoned me, primarily by supporting people like Reagan and Dubya. I voted against Richard Nixon, by absentee ballot from Phu Bai, Viet Nam. I am a Viet Nam veteran, so have seen one worthless, ill founded war and am currently watching one which was entered by way of a lie, continues with lies, which I believe John McCain is most likely to continue (please don't use the word win or the phrase "bring to a successful conclusion"). The amount of money we have wasted on the "war" in Iraq has sent us into an economic tailspin and our country to near the bottom of the list of worthwhile power brokers in the developed world. We may be closer to another depression than any time since the "Great Depression". The money spent in Iraq could probably have paid for universal health care for the next 60 years, let alone funded the Social Security and Medicare system for a lot longer than that. It will probably not occur again in my lifetime that I will be able to mark a ballot with a positive vote for anyone in the Republican Party. Lest you think I'm really high on any Democrat, forget it! They have let Dubya continue to get away with his lies and gutting of the Constitution of our country. The House should impeach Dubya immediately and the Senate should convict him immediately, but then we would only have Cheney. At least Dubya is just not bright, Cheney seems to personify evil. Any vote I cast will be based more on who can/will do the least harm. It will take another 50 years to undo the damage done to our country, especially to the Constitution, since the Reagan years, provided reasonable politicians work very hard at it - what are the chances?

By the way, don't rule out an actual, but not elected, third term for George W. Bush. He may well invoke the Presidential power to declare martial law due to some "terror" threat and postpone/cancel the November elections. He and his advisers have so little regard for the "rule of law" in the United States, it seems a distant, but real, possibility to me.

By the way, so many of the comments I see here and on other comment spots seem so xenophobic, bigoted, narrow sighted rather than based on the reality of globality, and based on poor understanding of what the world holds in store for the United States, it makes me wonder how our country will survive if we cannot improve our humanity, humaneness, whatever you want to call just plain old decency. All you fundamentalist Christians take note, you were a primary force in this deception we're living through, including all the innocent civilians dying in undeclared (lawfully) wars, etc. around the world. WWJD? NOT this, certainly!

Hot Seat: Rush's Texas Rope-a-Dope {Politics Daily}

Optical Illusions: No. 7 {AOL Video Blog}

Feb 13th 2008 10:05AM A Moebius strip is not just imaginary in three dimensions. Please don't give faulty information. The world gets half truths in news, lies from its leaders. Surely something this simple to check out can be of better quality than what we usually received as "facts".

Sep 22nd 2007 6:48PM That was one expensive airplane. A Harrier VTO jet, I believe.

Manneken Pis: Brussles' Pissing Boy {Gadling}

Apr 1st 2007 2:40PM I wish you wouldn't use this word: freaking or any variations of it. I would much rather see the good old "f" word than these supossed ways around it. Use certainly shows a lack of vocabulary or any creative writing skills.
