vative,Liberal,Pro-Choice,the idea of "Change" to some
is enormously 'frightening,no,on the other hand'TERRO
-RIZING'!While there are institutions that want"THINGS
to remain as they always have been,there are others who are willing to challenge the "Status quo",and seek
alternatives.Sen.Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton are
making an attempt to"DO JUST THAT"!To the degree that
a vast majority of you are responding and reacting as
you are,is indicative of the above!Some of you have
allowed 'COLOR' to be the focus of your attacks and/or
attention,while others of you have gravitated toward
gender, primarily as a basis for opposition!And for a whole host of reasons,i've not mentioned the Republi-
-can candidate because it's obvious he represents"sta-
-us quo!So in the final analysis,whether Sen.Obama or
Sen. Clinton receives their party's nomination,neither
this writer,nor ANY of YOU(whether you believe it or

themselves,there will be people like imus who are willing
to accomodate them{Rutgers team notwithstanding),they did
nothing themselves individually that warranted this veno-
mous verbage.But because of the lack of respect displayed
by SOME of their(do ANYTHING for MONEY)so-called sistahs
they were viewed as one and the same!imus made no distinc
-tion between this group of Black college females and the
one at Duke Univ who said she was Raped by white male stu
-dents.I'm not condoning imus'behavior.America is infest-
-ed with the mentality of men(particularly caucasian) who
really think and feel the same way imus does!Afterall black women are always in "heat" and ready to engage in sex anytime,anyplace,and anywhere and with anyone!African
-Americans why are you so surprised! Stop disrespecting
yourself, and maybe,perhaps it will lead to others like
imus to not be so eager to accomodate.We as blacks are
more to blame than all the imus' put together!
