Homeowner Susie Salazar Loses Insurance Policy Over Pit Bull {AOL Real Estate}
Mar 23rd 2013 9:54PM I am no fan of pit bulls in general, but insurance companies are running our lives much more maliciously than any government entity. They need to be stripped of discretionary power to exempt so many standard things in policies as well as deny for most normal life choices.
My homeowners insurance USED to be about a third of the current price, and there have been a ton of exemptions added to the policy over the years. I am no longer covered for "earth movement" for one example. Homeowners' policies should be regulated to include fire, earthquake and other normal protections in them in order to be sold. Of course, that's a "liberal," big government idea to those who would rather have some CEO determine how they are going to live.
Regis Philbin Sells Greenwich Home After Price Cut {AOL Real Estate}
Jan 18th 2012 11:15PM Whoa.. that is really low price for a home that size in gerennnnnich. Fairfield County was far over valued, and though never meant for people of my modest means, I'm eternally grateful to have escaped the stench, congestion and vicious behavior on the roads that is rampant there. The area was a decent place to grow up 50+ years ago, but there is NOTHING appealing about it any more.
Hot Stat: Today's Homes Burn Faster Than Ever {AOL Real Estate}
Nov 9th 2011 9:16PM Duh. Regulate the upholstery business - not the homes. Nothing could be more obviously sane and sensible. The huge danger caused by this furniture could probably be prevented with only a modest effort and expense on the part of the manufacturers, instead of a huge outlay for sprinklers by the suckers who buy the furniture.

Feb 20th 2011 5:47PM Partnership with the world's biggest coroporate criminal? Yeah, I'll run out to buy that stock.. some "university," dealing with that kind of filth.
Can Small-Business Owners Save Congress? {AOL Small Business}
Jan 5th 2011 2:07PM Businessmen in government ALWAYS results in disaster. Government is not a business. It has responsibilities far beyond the bottom line. Business exist for profit. Government exists to SERVE THE PEOPLE. Too much influence of business over government is one of the major reasons we are in an economic mess today.

Oct 11th 2010 12:24PM I should have mentioned that race has nothing whatever to do with it, in light of previous comments.

'People Are Funny' Host Art Linkletter Dies at Age 97 {PopEater}
May 26th 2010 10:26PM Yeah, Linkletter was a wonderful guy - going on the air crying about the horrible 'death tax' and how it was such a tragic burden on well-to-do Americans, to help the idiot-boy-emperor and his felons slough off their (and raygun's) wild spending sprees onto the back of the working men and women of this country. A real paragon of humanity. ROTLMAO.
