AOL Jobs Week Resume Contest Popular Vote Winners {AOL Jobs}
Jan 30th 2011 4:22PM Good luck to all, and this is a nice project. However, I see several flaws in the resumes. They are very "I"-centered, and there are errors (such as eliminating hyphens, using shortened versions of words rather than spelling out, etc.). Many fail to emphasize their value to a potential employer but rather concentrate on what the candidates want, tsk tsk. If these are the winners, I hate to see the losers. It is sad that so many Americans can't produce an acceptable, professional resume.
Most Dangerous Honeymoon Locations {AOL Travel News}
Jun 29th 2010 12:56PM Jamaica is wonderful - It's a shame this article makes it sound like the whole island is unsafe - that is irresponsible reporting. Kingston is rough, no doubt, but it is far removed from Montego Bay, Port Antonio, my favorite - Negril!, or other spots which are safe, remarkably affordable, and due to the pride of the locals, pristine for the most part.
35 fantastic U.S. beaches for Summer {Gadling}
May 14th 2010 7:17AM A big oversight - Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. It is one of the few clean, pristine, uncrowded beaches around, with NO garbage on the beach. Truly gorgeous and stunning.
Sarah Palin Bans Press from Florida Speeches {Politics Daily}
Feb 13th 2010 9:49AM To say something like this proves you know nothing about Joe Biden, nor Sarah Palin (eww, I can hardly type her name).
Sarah Palin Bans Press from Florida Speeches {Politics Daily}
Feb 13th 2010 9:42AM Now there is some true American. The Fox-created candidate forgets that freedom of the press is something our forefathers fought for, which distinguishes us as a democracy. Since the christian right bought the republican party, it is no longer what it used to represent, and too many Americans are too stupid to get it.
Palin Holds Door Open to Presidential Run, Slams Obama {Politics Daily}
Feb 7th 2010 4:39PM If you and others thing she is intelligent, well that's just a horrifically sad commentary. I am a Reagan Republican who would never ever in a million years give an ounce of credibility to this yee-haw moron and her stupid sound bytes; and it is sadly the UNintelligent who could support something like that. OMG, it boggles the mind.

Feb 7th 2010 4:36PM Can we please get this moron off the main-stream media so much, ugh!?!!!
I'm Not Afraid to Beg: Come Back, Brett {Fanhouse - Jay Mariotti}
Jan 26th 2010 1:39PM Thanks to the author for pointing out the coaching mistakes - add to it not challenging the N.O. touchdown where the player most clearly was on the ground before he put the ball across. The game would not have even been tied. Yet through the pain and crazy way of having to play through the noise, Favre ground out yet another touchdown to answer that. He's a class act with no rival.
Here We Go Again: Favre Watch Begins {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Jan 25th 2010 6:05AM Brett Favre is a class act. Yes, the pass interference call was a bad one, but so was the N.O. touchdown, but it should have been challenged. Favre scrapped and fought a magnificent game through crazy circumstances and his team member's mistakes and got points no one would have thought, and it would be a shame if he is remembered for an interception.
