Top American Destinations To Avoid In 2013 {Gadling}
Jan 8th 2013 8:36PM My husband and I picked SLC at random to spend our honeymoon (seriously, we threw a dart at a map to pick our destination!). We snatched up the tourist brochures at the hotel and found a lot of interesting things to do, from visiting the Lake to hearing the Mormon Tabernacle Choir live. It's a beautiful city and we had a wonderful time.
New Hampshire Child Falls Down Laundry Chute, Gets Trapped in Wall {AOL Real Estate}
Nov 25th 2012 11:27AM The opening in the wall is a "hatch" not a "latch." The "latch" is the device that keeps it closed. Glad the little guy is okay, though.
'Cloud' Twin Towers: Design Insults 9/11 Victims, Critics Say {AOL Real Estate}
Dec 12th 2011 11:07PM I think it's supposed to look like the buildings are rising through the clouds. Some people are just too quick to take offense. I remember some folks wanted to change the name of the second Lord of the Rings movie (The Two Towers) because some people might find it offensive.
The Pit Crew With Love-A-Bull - Changing People's Perceptions One 'Pittie' at a Time {Pawnation OLD}
Sep 10th 2011 11:39AM My next door neighbor has two huge, magnificent pit bulls who often come to my yard to say hello. I admit that I am a bit afraid of them, because they are both solid muscle and you can see how they could really hurt someone, but they are very well-behaved and the owner does not encourage any kind of aggressive behavior. Even so, it's rarely the fighting dogs of this breed who attack people. It's usually the neighbor's (or victim's) pet. They are beautiful dogs, but they truly need responsible owners.
Rotate Your Owl {Pawnation OLD}
Aug 22nd 2011 12:08AM The original video was a demonstration of how owls can rotate their heads. The handler only did each movement once and did it slowly. The video was looped to appear repititive so that it fit with the song (which was pretty funny, I thought), so, lighten up.
Most Comfortable...Bathing Suits {Shopping Articles Blog}
Jul 30th 2011 9:35AM I hear you! I, too, am 50-something and I'm in good shape FOR MY AGE, but, I would not look good in most of these suits. Unless you can afford a personal trainer, by middle age, gravity takes it's toll, even if you are thin.
Denise Richards Adoption Inspired By Late Mother {PopEater}
Jul 6th 2011 2:25AM There are dozens of childless couples waiting for each available newborn. She did nothing but deprive a childless couple of a baby. If she was really as altruistic as she wants to appear, she would have adopted an older child. She's just another celebrity who has used her wealth and influence to get a baby as a fashion accessory.
DIY Birthday PiƱata {Holidash News}
Jun 12th 2011 12:07PM That is sooooooo friggin' CUTE! It looks a lot of fun to make, too. They sell cupcake liners to go with different occasions (like black and orange and purple for Halloween, etc.) so you can "theme" your pinata. I think I'd put the candies in before I closed the hole where I removed the ballon, though.
Mom Defends Decision to Give 8-Year-Old Daughter, Britney Campbell, Botox (Video) {Stylelist (Main)}
May 12th 2011 12:22PM This is so disturbing. This woman is screwing her kid up and is totally oblivious - and all for a stupid, useless reason. Kiddie pageants should be outlawed - most of the kids involved in them are not in it because they want to be, no matter what their moms say. This woman should also have her medical license taken away. She's nuts.
Teenage Girls Continue to 'Fake 'n' Bake' Despite Health Warnings {ParentDish}
May 7th 2011 9:16PM I think it's ironic that so many bigoted schmucks consider people of color "inferior" while at the same time they are killing themselves trying to get what others have naturally. Me, I use 100+ sun block. I don't want my skin to look like an old shoe.
