Jul 27th 2007 10:20AM I gather from your previous posts that you are from Ohio, so this trip really intrigues. I live in the DC area (Georgetown really is quite nice) and I will be making my way up to Cincinatti for a wedding in August. I plan to drive, but I have been dreading the I-270 to I-70 route. I also don't want to prolong my trip much more than I have to. So I just wanted to say that your sounds much more pleasant, and I will be considering it myself.

Jun 1st 2007 9:21AM I have never been a fan of the cruise ship idea, but alaska has always been at the top of my list of places to go. So when I was offered a FREE trip on an alaskan cruise with some of my family this coming August, I jumped right on it. Although I hardly give any thought to the time on the boat. I have been reading everything I can about the places I will be visiting in Alaska, and I am very excited to see Gadling doing a daily feature. I look forward to reading about your trip.
