Aug 13th 2012 12:25PM I can remember the day that I had to cut up Dobbie, into hams, etc. and hang them in a smoke house covered with salt, to cure and preserve the meat.
Take a small hatchet and chop the head of a chicken off. Pull feathers off, boil, or bake in the wood stove. Every meal was fresh and tasty. Drank raw milk, keep
cool in a spring. Made butter, had some hens, and cooked the eggs that you could taste, not like today. We grew all vegetables. Everything from asparagus
to Zucchini. Every thing was started with seeds, in a cold frame. The only thing
that was completely gross, was the out-house. I won't go into details, but I waited
until I "had",to go. I think we are headed back to that era. Make your own anything, called living organic.

man or woman in your neighbor. Go by and see how they are doing...
There is also physical and mental abuse....think about how you would
feel, will feel. You wouldn't be here if not for your grandparents,
and parents. sounds simple, it is simple!!

people have watched someone getting beatup, take pictures and
relish the moment. The lady has earned everything she has, and
just lost her leg. I guess some of us enjoy "kicking"
someone when they are down. There will be death for all of us.

Lets say you are hiring a salesman, do you go for the short pudgy type,
or do you go with the tall dark and handsome? The secretary mentioned
by Janna, must be a looker, maybe part hooker. Evidently she has nothing
else going for her. Our physical appearance can make or break the opportunities that are available to us: and what is so interesting, those
who don't look at themselves in the mirror continously, are really the ones
that will most likely perform with more enthusiasm and determination than the
"Hollywoods" .....

Sep 6th 2010 9:19PM I saw "falling waters", and it is the most beautiful interaction with nature. Even in the
entry there is a spring that runs down the rock wall into the floor and out. He built
around it. and in one of the gathering rooms there are boulders, as seats jutting through
the floor. I had to lean down to pass through the doors, because the family who
had it built were shorter. Even the furniture is scaled down. and the balconey over
looking the waterfall...they had to make me leave. Those of you who want to see something
spectacular, its there.

Most necklaces have been soldered with lead, so not many are
melted down.

because most of the gold was bought at 1/2 wholesale
Pawnshops are a good way to judge the worth of an item.
and in many instances you receive more from pawn
than the "mail in" Its all about the money.....when you have
hundreds of companies competing for your "old" gold
Someone has got to be making alot of money ........As far
as gemstones are concerned, donot buy nor sell. Not many
know that your grandmothers ruby ring , which you call an old
ring with a red stone in it could be worth thousands. Have your
jewelry appraised, replacement value, and then decide if you
want to sell that old ring for 50$. Im not a company, just wanted
to share.....any questions?
