Mar 1st 2012 5:10AM Right. They've already blown how many billions, and want more? Why not. All us "Joe Citizens" have tons of money sitting around we don't need. Hell no. Let's start with jailing the incompitent idiots that caused this problem first. And if there is ANY support, in any type of bail-out, it should go to the people, not the states, not the banks.
Nov 23rd 2011 2:31AM And I bet not a single one of them will do any jail time. This is "Theft by fraud", or something. If some of these "white collar criminals" were given like sentences as the guy who knocked over the local 7-11 two things would happen: There would be less of this type of crime. And 1/2 of the banking mortgage industry would be "making license plates". This is NOT the"victimless crime" I have heard it refered to.
Jul 17th 2011 2:12AM Forget the right or wrongness of the tax. My problem with it is that just like every other instance when a "large chunk of change" get into the hands of "powers that be", that $1.00 that went in is lucky to come out as 0.49 on the other end. The tax alone will create a bureau just for collection & disbursement.
Jul 3rd 2011 8:19PM I'm really not picking on them. But I wonder if she is going for a record in Ripleys' for the most (quatity & quality) stupid looking hats.
Feb 20th 2011 3:44AM What is up with this? People flying on these airlines are getting ripped off by all these new & excesive fees, and we should be happy that airlines ripped off enough of us to "spread the wealth"? And Banks are "back to normal" on this too: screwing the depositors & giving themselves big bonuses. GM is also pulling this.
Jan 26th 2011 4:06AM Sorry Brian. If you've ever been in a checkout line, you'll know that getting cash change is a lot faster than swipping a card. I can't count how many times multiple swipes, multiple pin entries have slowed a normaly fast "cash only" line. Besides, they went "card only" because they get a kick-back from the banks that issued the cards.
Jan 25th 2011 3:55AM Hands down I have to say that AOL has the least knowledgeable, understandable customer service. That is if, as most times, you get one of their "outsourced" operators.
Jan 5th 2011 7:47AM Sounds like someone looking for a "Free Ride". I mean, c'mon. What thrill could "Donald" get with that massive suit on. Disney is too expensive for my tastes. But I hate people who file these type of law suits. Just looking for "an easy". Send her to jail for filing a fake suit.
Jan 3rd 2011 3:57AM See what happens now that "swats" are outlawed? Teachers have to give the kid a "Jeuvie" record.
Jan 2nd 2011 2:22AM Other than they are the ones that make the laws (always in their favor) what legitimate purpose, other than begging for money or votes, can a pol possibly have to be exempt from the law? They are a bigger pain than most others.
