Kelty Gunnison 2.1 tent giveaway {Gadling}
Sep 2nd 2010 1:08PM I have never been camping in a tent but I don't have any place to live at the moment and I was thinking of camping out in a tent. This one looks really great! I used to go with my parents in thier Airstream trailer when I was a kid and we would camp out; but, the Airstream is no more and I am homeless! One of my favorite places to camp was along the upper shores of Lake Michigan along about Spring Lake, especially in the early fall.
Ryanair to ticket passengers who try to cheat the baggage system {Gadling}
Jan 24th 2009 9:57PM I think you're right. They should set a total pound limit and that would be fine with me. I'm not a skinny person and have found many airline seats to be smaller than I would like. But I see people twice my size who essentially get double the value for the price.
I usually have overweight bags as I go overseas for long periods of time. I ALWAYS have to pay for them. If you did a total pound ticket then you could either be fatter or have fatter luggage. That seems fair to me.
What Is the Most Annoying Airplane Etiquette Violation? {Gadling}
Mar 5th 2007 11:26PM I have a suggestion for the airlines to stop people's complaining bout fat people or people with too many carryons. Each person should be allowed 400 lbs. on the plane. This includes YOU and your checked luggage and your carryon. The airline should weigh you and your belongings and charge accordingly. I think that I shouldn't have to pay for my "overweight baggage" when someone else is 350 pounds and still gets 100 pound baggage allowance plus a 50 pound carryon. They are getting more for their money than I am. I'm 170 pounds, so, I'm not petite; however, I think that I should be allowed to have more baggage to make up the difference! Fair is fair.
