Cantor Fitzgerald CEO Howard Lutnick Angers Hamptons Neighbors With Hedge Blocking Views {AOL Real Estate}
Oct 15th 2012 1:27AM Unless the zoning laws specifically include "view rights", which would be unusual in areas zoned for large estates, I don't see him losing this. The "farm" is an agricultural preserve but his home and the hedges are on his private property, not the preserve, or he wouldn't even have been allowed to build the home since the preserve cannot be developed.
Vagabond Tales: Scuba diving Nicaragua in a lightning storm {Gadling}
Mar 9th 2012 9:55AM Lake Nic is the most well-known but not the only place in the world with fresh water sharks, including several lakes in the U.S. There are also a number of species that live in rivers, moving between the fresh, brackish, and salt water. The prime consideration is that the body of water is large enough to support a community of large predators. Nurse sharks, although generally docile, should not be treated like house pets. Dr Eugenie Clark discovered that they appeared to "sleep" in caves, however, most scientists (and divers) don't think they actually sleep, but just remain inactive during the day and hunt at night. The Carib is loaded with great dive destinations and I would caution against trips to Nicaragua in general, at least until until Daniel Ortega is gone (do your homeowrk in advance). It is the poorest country in C.A., with a high crime rate. It's a beautiful country with beautiful women, great Rum and coffee but it's not quite ready for tourist prime time.
Jennifer Aniston Gets Her First Tattoo {PopEater}
Jun 27th 2011 1:12PM I love Jennifer A. but, seriously folks, Jen gets a tattoo; on the side of her foot, no less? How about Jen changes socks, or Jen drinks from a water fountain? I can't believe popeater is devoting precious space to this Jen tattoo thing when there are really serious issues to debate, like the Kim K. butt X-ray (her butt does take a cute X-ray, don't ya think?). Now, THAT was my favorite story of the week. I'm going to get the pic framed of her standing next to the X-ray; perhaps the ultimate nude pic. The expression on her face says it all...........
James Franco's ELLE Shoot: A Critical Response {Stylelist (Main)}
Jun 16th 2011 10:30AM According to the 'experts', the series should have been called "Rebel Without A Clue". I'm no pro fotog but, for me, a pic needs to tell a story and I got no sense of the story he was trying to tell (of course, I'm only seeing 3 pix, perhaps chosen to ilustrate the 'experts' comments). In advertising, that story should be told by the clothes, juxtaposed with scene, so that the viewer focuses on the point of the shoot (the clothes) but (subliminally?) in the context of the story. If none of that is present, you would need a lot of text to inform the viewer that you were actually trying to sell clothes to people with a rebellious spirit. People do dress to send a message and the ads should go after the inner reble, or whatever, but make a point that THESE clothes will show everyone else your inner rebel. Oh, yeah, and I really do not like this whole androgenous thing.
Parents Upset After School Yearbook Lists George W. Bush, Dick Cheney as Worst People of All Time {ParentDish}
Jun 2nd 2011 2:25PM This was printed in a school year book, not blogged in a forum for left-wing nincompoops, like you, Joe. Your ability to spell is, no doubt, directly linked to your abiility to make informed decisions on politics.

Beyonce Compares Adele to 'Listening to God' {The Boombox}
Apr 15th 2011 9:58PM I've never heard God sing (perhaps a few came close: Aretha Franklin, Miriam Makeba, Norah Jones, or a young Whitney Houston). Nor have I heard Adele and, until I just listened to Beyonce cover Etta James' "At Last", the only thing I ever heard Beyonce sing was "Single Ladies" (which I thought was brilliant and fun). But Beyonce sold me tonight; I am now a permanent Beyonce fan. Her voice has real beauty and range; her arrangement and delivery made me 'believe' the song; and she is soooo easy to look at while she's singing. The camera work on the video was great, also. I'll bet God listens to Beyonce.

The Playboy jet: How Hugh Hefner traveled in style {Gadling}
Mar 1st 2011 10:16AM Everything has its place in time and Playboy had its run with Hef the envy of most of the world's men. Playboy tried to maintain an air of class in an ever escalating classless market (Penthouse, Hustler) with good articles and installment presentations of topical and controversial books like Lenny Bruce's "How to Talk Dirty and Influence people". At any rate, thanks for the fresh look at Barbie Benton, one of the classiest Playmmates of all time, and a personal favorite.
Top 5 reasons Icebreaker underwear are my favorite pieces of travel gear {Gadling}
Feb 26th 2011 3:02PM Gee, Mike: I really don't give a damned about your jock itch or lack of it and, at $43 bucks a pop, I'll just buy enough cotton boxers (yes, I'm a swinger) to last the entire vacation and throw them in the trash after I take them off. That way I'm always "fresh" and my pack gets lighter every day. BTW, if we're still on speaking terms, who IS that hot girl in her skivvies standing beside the strange looking guy (that's not you is it, Mike?) with the hairy shoulders?
