Feb 10th 2013 9:39AM Fannie Mae seems to be one of the culprits. They set the rules. Chase just collects the money and forwards it to the true mortgage holder, which is a quasi Federal entity, that was a large cause of this problem in the first place.
Is the lady 21 months behind on her payments? That is not made clear in the article. If so, she is the greatest culprit.

Mar 7th 2012 12:18PM You have a college degree, and this is over your head? Why not make car payments, groceries and levi jeans on a sliding scale too. You make more than a lot of people, so you of course would need to pay more for milk, gas and hamburger than those with less incomes.
Feb 20th 2012 11:57PM Lots of the wheels are getting the axe too. The "big guys" pay is substantially "at risk" from stock options that they are allowed to buy. They are not going to make any money off of that these days, are they?
