Nov 30th 2010 9:33PM It's kinda funny you mention the gearbox to go behind this thing. I work for a company that manufactures gearboxes for industrial and marine application, and unfortunately the gears get very big. The gearbox alone may weigh tens of 1,000's of pounds. In addition, most marine gearboxes are 1 speed, sometimes with a reversing gear. So if this were put in a truck, I doubt it would go well at all. I bet they're going to have one heck of a time finding a rearend they don't destroy. Would be fun to watch though...
