Apr 25th 2009 11:16AM Most of our first ladies were criticized for their clothes at some point. Some more than others. The only one who wasn't was Jackie Kennedy. Probably the worst was Rosalyn Carter. Michelle Obama is tall and has long legs, but somewhat wide hips. Often what she wears doesn't help her hips at all. And wearing a cardigan to visit the Queen of England or other wives of Heads of State - really who would do that? She can be as down homey as she wants around the White House, but at certain occasions she should dress for the occasion. She is a lovely woman, but she does need better advice on what to wear when, and they both need better advice on their gift giving. If they are smart they will listen to that advice. If not, they will be criticized often for both.

John McCain is strong on keeping our country safe. He understands terrorism and war. He knows our world leaders and how to deal with them. He is a straight talker, honest person. He is a reformer, and he has proven over and over again he can work with both parties.

May 1st 2008 12:29PM Ruthie, no one is talking about Buchanan because he doesn't matter. He is no one's father figure/mentor/teacher/friend/spiritual advisor/like an uncle. Buchanan can rant and say whatever he wants, it doesn't matter. But Wright/Obama's connection does matter because Obama is running for President.

May 1st 2008 12:26PM I won't vote for Hillary because I won't vote for a Liberal, but I thought she did very well on O'Reilly. I look forward to watching the rest of the interview. I give her credit for going on O'Reilly, and would love to see Obama on O'Reilly also. I understand McCain will be on soon. Kudos for Hillary for her courage in showing up on O'Reilly and FOX.

Didn't hurt him any that the two that didn't agree with him were very vocal about it. Jenna is entitled to vote for whoever she wants. She isn't McCain's daughter anyway. And why can't she admire Chelsea Clinton as a person? that doesn't mean she turned into a Liberal. This is silly.

Jan 29th 2008 12:01PM The teacher should have stayed farther away. I don't know about China, but in Africa people are warned everywhere about what to do around elephants and to stay clear of them. They are WILD, as are all WILD animals, especially in their own environment. Any human who gets too close is looking for trouble and is to blame if anything happens to them. Doesn't mean I am a "human hater", but a realist when it comes to WILD animals. We humans should know better.
