Mar 19th 2008 2:31AM oh please, Josejo (#3), kids get tons of encouragment these days. When a kid joins a sports team, they ALL get trophy's, when a kid goes to a birthday party, they ALL get a present, when a kid tries anythng new, they ALL get words of praise. I've never seen a generation of kids that get more validation and encouragement. As teenagers they probably have a meltdown when everyone is not telling them how fantastic hey are all the time (like when they were kids) and don't know how to handle it.

I've wondered the same: why would a politician's wife stand next to him after he's been exposed in this way? I think if she didn't show up I would not see it as having a public meltdown (maybe she had a previous engagement and can't be bothered with him at this time). Let him stand in his own mess. To me it just sends the message that it's "okay" to mess around, because they will be forgiven. I think women are much nicer and are willing to put their feelings aside to help out their man, but unfortunately, I would never expect to see the opposite.

I do not have children, but have gone to Disney World as an adult because I enjoyed it as a child. My husband and I searched out restaurants that would not have children running about so we could enjoy a quiet meal together. Trust me, I like kids. They are fun to watch, but as an adult, I need a little away time from them. I think Disney is right on track. By the way, I now live in Germany and am amazed at how well behaved all the children are here, expecially in restaurants... how do the parents here do that?

We need to show these perverts that we are watching them and that they can't get away with it anymore... every time I see "To Catch a Preditor" I am shocked at how many guys are out there looking for small children to have sex with. Scary.
