Feb 25th 2007 7:43AM My thing is bball players & teams are always told to play the whole 48 minutes. Why is there some unwriten rule for referees to eat their wistles, in the closing seconds of close games. They should have to ref for all 48 minutes. This ref just kept refing until the final buzzer. Upon seeing the first replay I didn't think it was a foul, but when they widened the angle it was clearly a foul. It seems like people are picking sides. If you like the Knicks its a foul if you don't it wasn't. I could care less either way. With that said. Would the Knicks get that same call by the same ref on the road? They don't call M.S.G. the world's most famous arena for nothing.
