Why your state sucks: the depressing but true map of America {Gadling}

Jan 30th 2011 11:44PM Umm, Christianity also teaches that porn is a sin; so I wouldn't think there is a correlation to Mormons.

Do Pretty Girls Get All the Jobs? {AOL Jobs}

Jun 3rd 2010 11:10PM Way to go snob. You just insulted all of the families of those "grunts" who died to keep you free. Where did you get such arrogance?

Meredith: 'I'm an Old Horny Woman' {PopEater}

Oct 14th 2009 8:28AM Meredith is nursing a sick husband and has been for years. She probably is horny as hell.

The Girl Scouts earn a Cheapskate patch: Fewer cookies in the box this year {WalletPop}

Jan 27th 2009 5:39PM My wife and I raised two boys and they each played soccer for more than 10 years. When they needed money for soccer trips, uniforms, cleats, balls, matching bags, etc., we paid for them from our own hard-earned money. We never expected someone else to pay for our kids recreational activities. Inherently, that is the problem. Too many of these parents today are looking for a bailout. If you can't afford the Girl Scout program, pull your kid out of it.

One Good Reason to Visit South Dakota (Besides Mount Rushmore) {Gadling}

Aug 19th 2007 2:31PM This is so bogus. What if the 51st state were in Arctica? Would that put the geo-center of the continental US in Canada? Yes, it would. The real geo-center of the continental US (which includes all contiguous states) is 280 miles north and west of Tulsa, OK.

New Jersey is finally number 1 in something besides property taxes {BloggingStocks}

Mar 22nd 2007 10:58AM If you're looking for safety, try my city of Broken Arrow, OK. I'm a Philly native (born in Manhattan) and I moved my family here from Lindenwold, NJ 30 years ago. NJ is nice, but has some saftey problems (see Mewark and Camden). Philly pretty much sucks from a saftey standpoint. The only fairly safe place is the NE section and that's because its occupied by police and firemen. Broken Arrow, OK is listed as the 9th safest city in the US. I lock my doors because I'm an easterner still in some ways, but I know many folks who don't.
