Mar 21st 2012 11:15AM Yeah, and lots of fools who agree to contracts and then want to break their promise by breaking the rules ! Agreed this was an odd place to pick a fight, but they know if they allow one person to break rules, others will surely do the same.Soon the place looks like a dump. I've seen this happen.
Mar 21st 2012 11:04AM Right, Will, what people don't read into this is where it can go if everyone begins to put out their own "beautiful" decorations. You will see tacky town in amatter of months. I've see this happen.
Mar 20th 2012 8:27PM I guarantee you that when a city, town, or condo allows people to ignore zoning rules,or has no rules,it's the beginning of "tacky town." When you buy into a condo, you agree to those rules and have a legal obligation to comply with them. A contract is a contract. If you break the contract you pay the price.
Mar 20th 2012 8:18PM This is a crazy spot to wage an expensive battle over condo rights. I agree totally that the association must maintain control and has an obligation to enforce sanctions.Failure to enforce the rules will ruin a condo. Still, it seems like they should save their ammo for a more obvious infraction.
Mar 10th 2012 5:40PM Well said...very true. I see trends toward anarchy which would be real hell on earth if it got out of hand.
Mar 10th 2012 5:32PM Yeah, then I'd have to drive. Letting everyone do his thing withn no rule enforcement would be pure hell...believe it.
Mar 10th 2012 5:26PM There's a growing trend in America where people feel entitled to do things that negatively affect others. The nail polish is one example. Others include playing loud music, parking in "no Parking" zones, letting your pooch go without cleaning it up, etc., etc. Let's face it ,some people are just selfish slobs with no manners.
Mar 10th 2012 5:17PM Totally agree, Paul. I doubt all the passengers around her agreed to that obnoxious smell, especially in a closed up space like a plane. It's hard to believe that people can't be considerate of others even for a short flight.
Mar 10th 2012 9:55AM OK, Jeff, and good luck. But any time funds go from one account to someone else, there's got to be a winner and a loser. BAC will recoup that money somehow, perhaps as a TAX writeoff?
Mar 10th 2012 8:10AM Wow ! How is this "Robin Hood" economy any better than socialism? At least there everyone gets the same benefits. Here, you will help to pay for those who happened to make a bad deal based on the market. Those who have faithfully paid for decades get the shaft!!
