Feb 14th 2011 7:44PM The ONLY thing remotely amusing about 'Whoopi' is the cushion named after her.....They both emit the same degree of meaningful sonic timbre.
Feb 8th 2011 5:06PM I'm sorry to say NASCAR, though still containing extremely talented drivers, has devolved into a much less mature sport. The passing of Dale, along with so many other veterans being supplanted by more marketable 'sports celebrities' has turned this sport into more of a "surface rather than substance" environment. Dale helped maintain an atmosphere of excitement and unpredictability as opposed to what is rapidly becoming the "Jimmie Johnson Cup". Along with his formidable driving I respected Dale's unpublicized charitable activities and the way he was marketable simply in the type of man he was, rather than through a plethora of corporate associations (I would say HE helped Wrangler and Goodwrench more than they helped HIM!). While I realize all things must evolve with the influx of younger talent I don't see many in the 'new breed' (except for perhaps Tony Stewart) stepping up to a leadership role to influence the continued integrity of the sport.....Again, not to decry an obvious wealth of newer talent but so much of NASCAR has become how much money can be made rather than the character of those involved. Dale was crafty enough to have it all just being who he was!
Jan 27th 2011 8:28AM Hey! What GREAT NEWS!! Now Baldwin might appear on yet another program I refuse to watch!!
Dec 8th 2009 7:54PM Amazing that, while Obama flushes our former prosperity down the toilet with his 'Yippie liberal' czars and Congress, attention is always deflected toward people whose opinions run counter to the delusional agenda of this administration. AOL certainly does ITS part to advance the prevention of alternative opinions, completely ignoring the fact that Beck (and others like him) use the words of those they challenge as a basis for calling their policies into question. Obama has broken more campaign promises in a YEAR than most presidents do in multiple presidencies.
Nov 7th 2009 11:50PM STUPIDITY AND CORRUPTION REIGN SUPREME IN OUR LEGISLATURE!!!! Thanks for all the C-Span coverage and internet posting of the vehicle by which this nation will soon be BANKRUPT!!!!!! May the partisan liberals from either party be the first to suffer the negative effects of this monstrosity!!!!!!!!! I hope the house included themselves in this form of bare-bones socialistic 'wait-in-line' coverage! But why would they perform in a manner prescribed by those who voted them into office?!?!???? A sad day for America and her former freedom!!!
Aug 18th 2009 3:21PM I belong to P.E.T.A........People Eating Tasty Animals.
Jul 24th 2009 3:56PM Seriously, where do these assholes come from? Everyone has a grievance about something and wish to force their narrow-minded views on the entire population!!! Why not put this negative energy behind changing the human condition for the BETTER instead of this nitpicky self-centered crap that does more to infringe on the pursuit of happiness than make a valid point for actual improvement of current situations.
Jul 24th 2009 11:19AM Hey, now seems like the perfect time to fulfill my lifetime ambition of becoming a full-time musician. Or, perhaps, an artist. Maybe a music teacher! Nah, I go with the only REAL job security remaining in this country....either being a High School football coach or working for the ever-inflating government (which seems to be the ONLY place where work is being offered!)
Jul 1st 2009 10:31AM Who cares about any of this bulls***?!?!??? Our nation is being flushed down the toilet by the husband of this skank and his legion of enablers. How much did the U.S. taxpayer shell out for THIS fashion statement?
Jun 25th 2009 12:11PM This is another inconsequential article designed by AOL to pit liberals and conservatives against each other. The heightened "politically correct" climate of attitudes toward interaction and communication provides fodder for any quasi-journalist to focus attention on relatively innocuous behavior while, in the meantime, deflecting the scrutiny of REAL issues that are much more germane to our well-being. Coulter is a PUNDIT and certainly no worse than the likes of Bill Maher and Lewis Black.
