Jun 24th 2012 8:58AM I remember Rt 66 very well ! It traveled some of the hottest, longest stretches
of desert that was absolutely beautiful ! And the great plains was so vast,
and in many places, so baren. Back in those days, air conditioning wasn't
everywhere like it is today, and when you walked into a little roadside cafe
from the hot sweltering heat, and into a tiny cafe with one fan blowing, you
felt like you were in heaven ! I remember one particular place like that where
we were served the best HB that I have ever had in my life ! Bristol Cream
Shave signs dotted the highways, cement Tepee motels rose in the sky, and
every little roadside stop served hamburgers and coke with sideshows out
back like cages of snakes, with lots of pottery and other items for sale.

Dec 6th 2010 10:29AM I don't think people are jealous of the Palin's. I certainly see nothing there to be jealous of. I think her joyousness at killing animals is sick, and her values are not what you and others think. Oh well, what will be will be..........but you think things are bad now, just vote her "in" and see how really bad things will be. And Bristol would have been voted off at start of show if it hadn't been for tea party.

I like my Clinton Clackers also...they just go clacking along.....Seriously though, sounds like alot of race issues here...you clackers can't see the lies from the Clinton's because you are so full of personal issues dealing with race. Too bad ... cause "she ain't the best person for the job" ! She'd go flying off the handle with that pottie mouth and bad temper and cause another war!

Feb 9th 2008 8:38PM SOMEWHERE IN TIME had me in tears through most of it. I consider it the best movie the actor ever made, and I wasn't a fan of the old Superman.......but that was one tear jerking movie.
