Everything you need to know about the viability of Sarah Palin preparedness for the possibility of holding the highest office in America was revealed in the interview with Katy Couric. Did this guy see that interview. On a more subtle level, the folksy quips like "you betcha" that were supposed to win the blue collar vote actually met with some success. Most of her blue collar constituency did not know it was a cover for real intellectual substance. Palin served herself on a silver platter to the press by masquerading as a honest-to-goodness Vice presidential candidate. BTW, get another eye exam, because....damn! Mel Reed

May 15th 2009 7:45PM I am not sure this is simply insensitivity on the part of the employee. As a one-time instructor. I view this as a serious lack of management training from the executive level at the home office all the way to each manager in the hotel.

Oct 17th 2008 8:48AM Many influential black Americans have thanked their fans by endorsing, even marrying white people. Oprah is a huge exception. Oprah not only elevates whites over blacks (even to the point of sanitizing how many blacks appear in the background of camera shots during her show), she has made white males media stars over and over. And to punctuate her apparent disdain for African American men, except for black men who have won the acceptance of large white audiences, the only black men on her show are those brought on to say I'm sorry for an indiscretion. It may be a "Color Purple" syndrome where every black male was a no-good you-know-what!
