What Make Up Do You Wear? {AOL Hot Searches}

May 26th 2009 6:46AM Can't help it, people may disagree, but I still think overall, "CoverGirl" is the best ever...
I have been using it since I was a teenager. They have great products, and they are economical. I am 55 yrs. old, and no one thinks I am that old and everyone asks what my secret is. I tell them "CoverGirl" make-up products!

Dec 12th 2008 10:51AM I work in a bank in South Carolina...I can tell you there is something wrong with this story. There are no more $1,000 bills in circulation.

Beauty Tips for Summer Skin {oldstylelist}

Jun 21st 2007 7:23AM I have found that the best product for your face is still the "tried and true" POND'S COLD CREAM"!
It is very inexpensive, compared to other products, and it works! My mom used it all her life, and she is now 80, and everyone still thinks she is late 60's! I am 53 now, and most people think I am not even quite 40! Sometimes the old products are better than the new ones!

What's On Your Vacation Wish List? {AOL Hot Searches}

Jun 20th 2007 6:47AM Hi! Forgot to say that there are maybe three or four nice little shops at Edisto where you can buy souvenirs, summer clothes, etc., but they are not "gawdy" like your typical beach stores!!

What's On Your Vacation Wish List? {AOL Hot Searches}

Jun 20th 2007 6:44AM HI! Just wanted you to know that one of the very best places to vacation is Edisto Island Beach, South Carolina. It is so beautiful, quiet, and laid-back..You won't find billboards, lots of stores, waterparks, etc., but what you will find are long stretches of almost unoccupied beaches, one grocery store, a couple of vegetable stands, and maybe 5 little restaurants, all of whom serve the best seafood you have ever tasted! The road going into Edisto is covered with moss-laden trees, and there is history here that dates back to pirate days. There are many plantation houses and churches and old graveyards to explore as well. You will never have to worry about traffic at this beach! There is a side of the island where you have the "regular" beach, and there is "St. Helena Sound" side of the island, which is the most awesome place to swim, as there are virtually no waves! It is like swimming in a salt-water lake! You can see dolphins in this sound almost all the time.
We stay at "Fairfield Beach Ocean Ridge" which is a nice little resort with great rental prices. They have a beautiful pool, gameroom, small miniature golf course and bike rentals. The whole complex is shady and beautiful, due again to all the mossy oaks that abound in this area. We love Edisto and would highly recommend it!!!

The Do's and Don'ts of Do-It-Yourself Dye Jobs {oldstylelist}

Feb 16th 2007 7:04AM I have always frosted my hair at home, but I have Fibromyalgia now, and it hurts too much to do all that "pulling through a cap" stuff...I started just coloring my hair all over...Believe it or not, the best color I found to get my hair a nice ash blonde was "Ultress", but I can't find it anymore. Since then, I have tried other "ash blonde" colors, but each time my hair is too "orangy" looking. Does anyone have any ideas for me? Thanks! Tina Blackwell, Columbia, S.C.
(P.S. I cannot afford to go to a salon).
